Chapter 1

Sophia's POV

Flashback

"As i heard loud screaming and sobbing on the kitchen i rushed towards it quickly as i step closer and closer the whimpers and the yelps of pain got louder and louder as i stood there dumbfounded seeing my father holding a knife against my mother as my mother defenses herself with a frying pan. The loud voice of my father ringing through my ears made me jump in shock i looked at my mom and looked at my father once again and without hesitation i did one thing i could do i ran and ran and ran with a tear streamed face i screamed loudly-"

-end of flashback-

I shot out of bed as i looked around and sighed in relief seeing i was dreaming, that dream i had in years it was a nightmare i could never forget. Its like seeing my family fall apart infront of me in split seconds.I shook my head back to reality as i looked up my watch and groaned i was late for school i ran off to the bathroom quickly. As the hot water buried through my skin i thought about the past and wonder how my father was doing  i haven't heard anything from him in years not that i want to hear anything it will just ruin my life again i was shook out of deep thoughts about my careless father as i heard a knock on my door i quickly stepped out of the shower wrapping a towel around me and look through the peephole "Who is it"  i mumbled in reply a very petite and low voice answer "Miss Sophia your breakfast is ready" my personal maid victoria said "alright tori i'll be right out" i didn't get anything in return after that so i dressed up quickly in my faded jeans and a plain white shirt i skipped downstairs and sighed seeing me all alone again, my mum has always been busy since the day my family went downfall i got used to it but sometimes i wish i was someone else who had a family.As i sat down on the kitchen seeing the empty dinner table i let out a long exhausted sigh and and ate after finishing a loud honk rang through my ears and i cracked as smile and got up grabbing my bag i walked out of the lonely house hold i call home

"hey bitch how was the weekend in hawaii did you find hawaiian boys" ashley squealed asking..typical ashley

i shook my head in disbelief "ash seriously! you know how i hate these topics right? its stupid and you know that dating is never for me"  i stated proudly earning the famous roll eyes in annoyance

"god you are a beautiful girl don't waste that gift girl any guy would go crazy for you why not try" she mumbled and i just groaned 

"God ashley just drive im late for physics" i stated annoyed 

"fine fine don't get you panties in a twist" she giggled driving off to school

The drive to school took longer than expected but the thing about me dating is nowhere possible it will never be.
