"MYSPELL, YOUSTUPIDMANDUNG."

My blood chilled. There was no way that there could be real witches.

"Oh, yes. There is absolutely witches in this world." lightning flashed, followed buy thunder. I realized that the umbrella I was holding slipped off my hand and the rain made me soaking wet.

"And yes, I can read your mind. My great grandchild, Abby, can too. You know her more as Abigail. She purposely gave you a fake copy of the comic you lovto scare the crap out of you. She also made sure that you didn't get to eat so that you'll get even weaker. Now..."

She reached inside her robes, and smiled at me gruesomely, revealing her black and yellow teeth.

I fell on my back, trying to get away from the witch. I stood up and ran to the door.

The witch let go of a laugh. I got to the front door and closed it, I ran up to the stairs, banged the door of my moms room so hard. I was surprised that there was no answer after all the loud knocks.

"MOM! OPEN UP! HELP!!" I shouted. I continued attacking the door with knocks.

"There is no point of struggling, deary. Once I see you, you're coming with me." The witch's voice said. I looked at the direction of the voice, I could see her silhouette coming up the stairs.

I ran to the end of the hallway, which lead to a door to my room.

I grabbed the door knob, to my horror, it was locked

I turned around and saw the witch's face inches from my face. I screamed, and the next thing I knew, I blacked out.

Adam woke up to a dark place. The only source of light was a bulb right above him. He didn't seem to be able to move. He felt like he had ALS.

"I see you're finally awake, deary." said the same voice that made his heart want to get out of his body. "Abby! It's time for the ritual. Come." she called out.

"I have arrived, grandmother." a voice. He was sure that it was Abigail, which said. "We shall sacrifice his blood to the demon right away."

Those words sent a chill up his spine. The demon? WTH?? He scanned his surroundings, and saw that there was a pentagram around him, drawn by chalk. Candles were at each corner of the pentagram. Other than that, the whole room was barren.

The witch and Abigail took opposite places, and started chanting in a language he didn't understand. They were reading from two black books.

After a few seconds, Adam's stomach seemed to have been stabbed. He cried out in pain. He felt it, and saw that it was bleeding. His blood was turning the pentagram and the fires from the candle into red.

The pentagram started to glow, the witches stilll chanting. He heard a demonic laugh, low and evil. The witches stopped abruptly.

"Hey, Adam. The demon shall arrive." Abigail said casually, like she said this everyday. He still couldn't believe that he was friends with a witch.

He started to say "Fuc-" but it was cut off by another horrible pain, coming from his foot. Once again, he cried out in agony. He looked at his foot, and saw something tiny and red. It was biting- no, eating his foot. It ripped off a portion of flesh from his foot, which now felt numb from all the pain. It looked up at him, and he saw the devil.
