Satzu- You Saved Me

Reconnection

By the time they reached Momo's house, Sana began to feel her heart race with anxiety. Why did she agree to this again? These people abandoned her in her time of need and here she was, reconnecting with them.  Before she could further drown in her doubts Tzuyu's hand was intertwined with hers and gave a squeeze to comfort her. Taking one last look at the three girls with her, she took a deep breath and knocked on the door. As is they were waiting right on the other side, the door opened almost immediately. She stood face to face with Momo, Dahyun, and Jeongyeon for the first time since they broke off their friendship. They seemed surprised that she had brought backup and both sides were speechless for a moment. She could hear her blood pounding in her ears and opened her mouth to speak when Chaeyoung decided to do it for her. 

"May we come in?" She asked with an eyebrow raised. Sana appreciated that the others had the balls that she didn't in that moment. 

"Of course. Lets go to the other room and we can all talk I guess." Momo responded. 

They all followed her and sat around a table, Tzuyu taking a seat next to Sana, grabbing her hand for support. The first to speak was Jeongyeon.

"Listen, Sana-"

"No you listen to me! I can't believe-" Chae started before she was hit lightly on the arm by her girlfriend. 

"Sorry, she's having a harder time containing her anger towards people that hurt our Sana than the rest of us. Continue." Mina said in a calm but warning tone. Jeongyeon took a breath and another look at the others before focusing on Sana who couldn't bring herself to hold eye contact.

"Alright. Well first I should mention that nothing we could say now could erase the past. We were stupid and desperate to continue fitting in and cast you aside cruelly. Once you left... We... sorry." She struggled to continue through the lump in her throat and Dahyun took that as a sign to take over for her.

"Once you left, we were forced to look back on our mistakes and unfair judgements of you. We had blocked out your years of friendship and loyalty just to attempt to have better images and avoid being bullied along with you. In the end, it took losing you to realize how much we needed you in our lives." She finished, shamefully hanging her head.

"I... I don't know what to say right now. Im having a hard time believing anything you guys say after what you did to me. I mean why should I forgive you guys when Ive moved on and gained two best friends and an amazing girlfriend without you? How does that make any sense?" She asked the girls, but it seemed like she was asking herself as well. 

"I guess thats our cue to introduce ourselves." Tzuyu began. "My name is Tzuyu. I'm a proud lesbian who is currently madly in love with the beautiful girl next to me." She said smiling at Sana who had a light pink sanding her cheeks. 

"I'm Mina, a bisexual ballerina with a baby lion filled with rage for a girlfriend.  And just because I am quiet doesn't mean I will hesitate to unleash Chae on all of you if you fuck up again." Mina said, somehow looking graceful through the rage in her eyes.

Meanwhile, the baby beast in question didn't seem to be speaking anytime soon due to all of the curse words that would escape. And she was totally better than that, definitely.

"Sana?" Momo spoke up after a few long seconds of silence.

"Momo?" Sana replied looking into her eyes for the first time that evening.

"I miss you." Was all she could get out before Sana was out of her seat and they were walking towards each other. They stood facing on another for a moment before collapsing into a hug filled with sobs and apologies from Momo.

Soon, the other two got up and joined the hug, all of them bawling their eyes out, letting go of the emotions built up from the year apart. Tzuyu, Mina, and Chaeyoung decided to sit out and let them have their moment. 

Eventually the four parted, laughing once they caught sight of their runny mascara, snotty noses, and messy hair.

"In all seriousness, as much as I miss you guys too, you have some serious explaining and making it up to me to do" Sana said after they've has some time to breath.

"And we'll try our best. We really love you Sana. Even though we made you think otherwise." Jeongyeon replied with sincerity for all three of them.

"Okay. Now lets watch a stupid movie and make fun of it. Like old times."

(Note: Im sorry this took years to upload. Im a senior and have had a lot on my plate in my academic and personal life. Thanks for understanding. Other than that, thank y'all for sticking around and let me know what you guys think of Yes or Yes! Personally, I have been bopping to it since its release and am listening to it as I write. IMO Jungyeon, Mina, and Jihyo rocked this comeback! Jihyo is looking so fine that I hate writing her as a villain TT)
