Gifts and Rumors

This is where Gin goes back to the guild and he is going to hear interesting rumors about his guild mates

Gin's POV

I was going through the town after I turned in the criminal the people were so pleased at how quickly and left hardly any damages catching him they gave me a bonus on reward so I got more money

I was looking at the stores until I found a magic shop I was getting a gift for the girl that Natsu brought as a welcome and apology gift for dealing with the chaos magnet that was the hot-headed dragon slayer

As I looked at the items then I remember that Lucy was a Celestial Wizard so I went to the counter to see the shop keeper putting some items away

"excuse me" I said polity as I got his attention

"is there something your looking for?" He asked me as he had some recognition in his eyes when he saw me

"Do you sell Celestial Keys I?" Him as he nodded his head as he went to the shelves in the room behind him then he came back with a wooden box he the opened the box to reveal a silver key that had a wolf on the of it

"this is the key for the wolf constellation Lupus is this what your looking for?" He asked I just nodded my head

"then it's free of charge since you took care of that dark wizard since he was harassing my store think of it as a thank you" he said with a smile as gave a small thanks to him as I put the key in my and left the store

I decided to go get something to eat before I leave back to the guild then I saw a cafe that caught my eye as I walked over to it 

It was a simple cafe it had a homey feeling it kinda remind me of the cafes that I go to in Italy when I escape from Vangola's chaos like when a fight breaks out between Cloud-san and big brother or when Bossu finally snaps when someone destroy his cake or his guardian makes too much paperwork for him

I shivered at the memory of when Bossu became a sadist but I was lucky to never be a target of his rage since from what Bossu told me that I only cause 3% of the paperwork since I never caused any property damage or fight anyone unless I had to defend myself the only reason I cause that amount of paperwork is just reports of the missions I do and I did most of my own paperwork

I just entered it as I sat at one of the free tables until a waiter came to me as I was reading the menu

"is there anything you like sir?" Asked the waiter as turned to him

"I will like an espresso and a slice of dark chocolate please" I said as he wrote down my order then went into the back as I was staring off into space

"It seems Fairy Tail has struck again" said a voice as it got my attention of two men who were talking at the table next to mine as I listen to their conversation

"apparently the Salamander destroyed an entire mansion" said the blonde man as I just had to sign at that since it wasn't very surprising

"not only that the guild got some new member that was some sort of blonde gorilla monster that destroyed the mansion as well" said the black haired man as I thought he was talking about Lucy

But I wouldn't call her a gorilla more like a harmless little bunny so I think that rumor was exaggerated so I decided to ignore them

Then the waiter put my order down in front of me as I thanked him and started eating

One word could describe that cake that it was the most delicious thing I ever had the espresso was also good as well better than other cafes I've been to

I knew I was definitely going to come back again and before I knew it I finished the cake so I ordered two full size cakes to go since I knew Erza is coming back from her mission and I don't want her to complain that I forgot to get her cake

As I was walking back to the train station I felt like something big is going to happen so I decided to keep my guard up since Reborn always say to trust your gut

I really miss my family I hope I can see them again someday
