Silver Wings

Chapter 3

I woke up very late. It was already afternoon in the morning when I opened my eyes. I'm still sleepy. I haven't sleep in duration of period since that scary day happened. I quickly took a shower then change my clothes. I curled my hair. I look at the mirror. I smiled.  I look good like I always have. I looked around. What am I supposed to do today? I still don't know this place yet. 

"You want to go and take a look at the whole ship?" someone said from above. It was Drake, wearing just a simple black t-shirt and jeans. I smiled.  He was infront of me. He was also smiling. "You look like a different person." 

"Is that a compliment? If it is then I thank you " I giggled.

"Let's go and we'll have our brunch together" He held my hand like it was the only natural thing to do. But, I felt safe in his care. Well, of course, he was the one who saved me.

We both went to the cafeteria. I was surprise that there are still many people eating. I thought that they went away to relax. Something like that. We sat on the same table like yesterday night. Drake went in line to buy us food. Drake was quick like a lightning. We ate quietly. When we were both done. He showed me around. 

"There are a lot  of places here. That's why this ship is so enormous." 

I stop cause I saw a guy, who was controlling the force of the galaxy. I went to take a look at that guy. He was wearing an attire that looks like he came from the 50's. Something like that I guess. His hair was red. He was alone in the room. The room was in the color of the galaxy. I was about to step inside.

"GI---"

"OMY!"  the thing that I thought was only a color of the galaxy. But, no... It was actually the galaxy. Agh... Why am I always in trouble? The guy caught me before I fall into the abyss of nowhere. He has a differet eye color than everyone. His was blue and green. Blue in the right and green in the left. 

"Thank you" I sheepishly said. He didn't smile. He wasn't looking at me. But at a different direction. I look at where he was looking. Drake... I completely forgot about him because of this guy. 

"You should put a chain in her neck. Cause she would've fallen into nothingness." He coldly said. Drake come and get me from him. I was hugging Drake. Both of them have wings to die for. Drake's wings was colored white and his was black. Two beautiful wings...

Both of them stare at each other. "You are the commander now. The one who fatwa us. For you, rescuing this stupid girl all of sudden. Without you knowing, who she was. Wasn't it fate that the two of you met?" He smirked.

"Back off. Lathen, don't do anything stupid. I don't know.' Drake coldly repied to Lathen. Drake turned around and left Lathen at the room. We where outside the room. He putted me down gently.

"Gizelle" He called me. Uh-oh... I faced him. I puppied smile. "It won't work" He calmly said. I pouted. 

"I'm sorry. Okay? I-I-I didn't mean to eavesdrop on him. Lathen? Is his name right?" I smiled to him. He look away then his expression was too serious for me to take.

"Don't ever come near that jerk. Just stay by my side. From now on. Got it?" He faced me with a gentle smile like he always does. I nod. We went outside the ship. I saw the beautiful clouds. Everything was like in place. But... No. Then we heard a loud noise coming from down. On the land, I look at Drake. He was also shock to hear that noise. 

Everybody was out and went down to see if something happened. "Are you going too?" I approached Drake. 

Drake's wings was already out. "So... That means yes " I wasn't smiling. But I was sure that he'll go too. "Can I come?"
