Through The Dark

Chapter -One

           I wake up to the sun coming through the window. Another day let's pray it's different than the usual day's.
          I watch as the clock ticks by till it's time to get dressed, and ready to go to class. I get dressed in a light blue dress with some black flats. I grab my stuff, and head out of the dorm.

          "Good morning, Twilight," a couple people say as I walk by,
          "Good morning," I say back running straight into a poll.

         "Owe," ok my morning is not going as planned.
         "Hey, are you ok?" a guy asks coming up without a shirt, showing his beautiful defined muscles.
         "Ya, I'm ok," I say in awe.
         "Alright, but I mean if your not we can head to the nurse to get you checked out," he says innocently.
         "I'm fine,"
         " ok, well I got to go, so I won't be able to watch after you in case you bump into anymore polls, " he chuckles.

          I watch as he walks off, but I couldn't help but wonder where he was going. I slowly follow him, and watch as he enters the woods with a lot of other guys who were just waiting there. What are they doing going into the woods like that?

          I need to figure out why there going in there, I look around, and head into the woods. Oh gosh what am I thinking.

          'your going to get us both killed,' my wolf said,
          'we escaped the wolf world for a reason, you know they are wolves, if we get caught we will be sent back to the wolf king,' My wolf said getting pissed off at my stupidity.
          'look, I feel like I need to see this,' I say getting aggravated.

         I watch the group of boy's for a while, and then see more boy's coming over out of different directions of the woods.

          'omg, I smell my Mate, we need to leave now,' she tells in my head.
          'but, we've never seen our mate,' I say desperate to stay, and look.
         'no, we can't be here. We will get caught. They will know we followed. We need to leave now,' she cried out desperate to leave.
         'fine we can...,'

         " MATE," a husky voice said behind me. I turned around to see a guy with black hair, black eyes, and a muscular body.

          "Oh, shit," I mumbled feeling like I'm about to have a mental breakdown.

         I watch as he takes my hand, and drags me away from the group of boy's without them seeing me.

         Once, we are far out of sight, and hearing range. I watch as he glares at me. Puffing his chest out. I watch as he comes closer to me, all I could do was step back a couple steps till I bumped into a tree. I didn't think a mate was this scary.

         'I told you to leave, but no... You just had to stay,' my wolf said exasperated. I don't want to deal with her right now, so I shut her out focussing on the man right in front of me.

         "Why are you out here?" He says still boring his black evil eyes into me.
          " I was, I was, I was just taking a stroll through the woods, " I say trying to hide the guilt on my face.
          "No, you weren't. You followed didn't you," he said running his hand through his jet black hair.
          "Even if I did, why would you care?" I asked point blank, regretting I said anything .
          " I care because, you could have been killed. I told Henry not to talk to you, but guess what he talked to you, and now here we are, " he huffs with frustration.

          'hey, is there away we can tell if our mate is still a virgin?' I ask my wolf out of the blue.
          'yes, you can ask or smell his neck like your a crazy person,' she says laughing.

          "Look, you need to leave or you can come back to my kingdom where I can keep you safe," he says lightly stroking my hand.
          " Wait, did you say kingdom!!! NO I CAN'T GO BACK THERE!!! " I say feeling tears start to stream down my face.
          "It's ok, I'm the Prince of Crystal kingdom. You don't have to worry about the kingdom you came from. I can protect you. I know what they did to you, " he explains as he pulls me into a hug.
          "Can you really protect me?" I question as I wipe my tears.
          "Yes, I had one of my wizards out a cloak spell on you, so no one could find, and hurt you, " he says still holding me in his arms.
          "May I ask your name before I even consider going with you? "
         "Yes, my name is Nightmare," he says still looking down at me.
         " I already know your name, so no need to introduce yourself, " he says stroking the back of my head.
        
        I look up at him wondering if I should trust him at all.

         "Ok, since your my Mate, and I feel like I can trust you, I will go with you, as long as I'm safe," I say, and watch him nod at my answer.
        " Alright, then let's get going it's a long journey, "

        I watch as he turns into his wolf, he was a big black wolf with gold eyes, and a gold shimmer to his black coat. I started to turn into my wolf still looking in awe at his wolf. I haven't been in my wolf for five years.
        I change into my wolf. She's white with eyes that look like the galaxy, and she has a sparkly silver shimmer to her coat.

        Once we are changed we head out further into the woods.
