"Healed scars remind what's unhealed"
- AUTHORThese are the times where people wonder why they undergo certain life circumstances, how loving unconditionally leads to a painful, yet satisfying outcome. Life is a series of non-stop brokenness and despair, until hope is found. War ---- battles are won but lives are lost.
Imagine yourself, sitting on a cafe, alone. You are listening to a certain song, playing on repeat, over and over, lyrics stayed printed on your brain, while reading a certain book about love, pain, and moving on. Does it hurt? Or does it really makes you feel better? Then you remembered all the times you've been down and scarred. You remember him, all the moments that both of you became so happy. The irony of the feeling that the both of you against this cruel world. The unfailing figure on how you overcome all the trials together. The mistakes that you both corrected and moved on. The picture that you took on the same cafe you are in right now while the lyrics says,
"🎵🎶...like we used to🎶🎵"
Then you reached the part of the book you're reading saying,
"Moving on is not forgetting the pain, but getting used to it."
Damn! Hurts right to the gut. Then you realized, this will never end. It will be forever embedded to your memory and it's up to you on how you will deal with these pain. Everyone in this situation are the dumbest human being at this moment. No matter how smart and logical a person is, when hope is lost, despair is found, and hearts are broken, we will forever be as stupid as we are an infant. Longing for the love and care of a mother we thought we never had.
Broken without end.
Wounds unhealed.
Promises broken.
Life is a cycle of a never-ending dilemmas. One line from the book of Mark Manson, I quote,
"The solution to a problem is
merely a creation of
a new one."
(The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck)As life turns us down, I dramatically tell myself that the if the sun sets from the west, just turn around as it rises from the east. There is always a dark before the morning.
Being broken doesn't mean it's bad. It just shows that a person is vulnerable because being vulnerable is what makes us human. Brokenness only shows that we have a space for healing. Scars only remind us that we should be wiser and stronger. Life works us out for us to build the muscle and strength to face greater challenges. Also remember, that a loss of one is not a loss of everyone. There are people, even one, that believes in your potential to grow and become a better person.
What heals us, is looking at the brighter side, having faith and believe on what we should believe in. The morality on this world doesn't define a person. Fight the good fight.
