"The more I look around and listen, I realize that I'm not alone. We are all facing choices that defines us. No choice. However messy is without importance in the overall picture of our lives. We all at our own age have to claim something, even if it's only our own confusion. I am in the middle of growing up and into myself."
-Sabrina Ward Harriso
Humans have the nature to be confused. Especially when choosing. But there is one question that is staying within each of my brain cells. Is it a must that we must know that our decisions are right or wrong, even if its already in the end? If only I can find out that I chose the right thing the time I choose it. Confusing isn't it? If not, then you're not a human. Sounds insulting or somehow funny but the point you became confuse is the time your human brain cells do its job.
One more thing is, Sabrina (the one who spoke the quote), she has no choice but to choose. Indeed she's right. Decisions mold our characters, eventually when decisions are made right. Maybe you'll picture out the rest of your life that you regret much things in the past. But the point is, you choose it. How hard is it to choose not to choose. Confused again? Thats good! Now learn from this story and maybe to some, this story is not new to you. Here it goes:
Butterflies
A man found a cocoon for a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared stuck.
The man decided to help the butterfly and with a pair of scissors he cut open the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. Something was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and shrivelled wings. The man watched the butterfly expecting it to take on its correct proportions. But nothing changed.
The butterfly stayed the same. It was never able to fly. In his kindness and haste the man did not realise that the butterfly's struggle to get through the small opening of the cocoon is nature's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight.
Like the sapling which grows strong from being buffeted by the wind, in life we all need to struggle sometimes to make us strong.
When we coach and teach others it is helpful to recognize when people need to do things for themselves.

The struggle doesn't mean preventing an individual to grow. Sometimes we choose some things that we must not choose. Sitting and watching a struggle somehow is a choice. Just like writing your name on a seashore. Time will past, the water will reach the point that it will erase those letters you wrote. You have no choice but to watch and sit. And eventually, choices are like writing your names again and again. Realizing that you must not choose to write on a sand but on a hollow cement where your choice will last and eventually, molds yourself in to stronger type of mixture, not a sand anymore but a strong concrete barrier.
On Mark 1:17-18 says:
17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 18 At once they left their nets and followed him.Peter and the rest of his fellow fishermen has indeed no choice but to choose. If they followed Christ. Jesus didn't asked them, "Can you follow me...", but instead, "Come, follow me...". Following Jesus is a choice when you have no choice. Its just he's reaching His arms and saying those words and it is up to you to stretch yours for you to reach Him.
PS. This was written by my 15 year old self. Kinda bit religious but reflect and base it in your real life. Decisions.
