Dark Beauty

Attacked

Ebony's boots scrape the sidewalk with every step. There is a faint smell of strawberries in the air, from the fields in the distance. Its hot and not a cloud is in the sky.

She walks by Samlin Manor, a manor house from the days of slaves and horses. It's abandoned now, except for the random homeless person who breaks in then disappears. She walks quicker than her usual pace until she reaches the corner and Samlin Manor has disappeared from her vision. She turns the corner, happy to away from the manor. She watches as Thomas leaves through his garage, and starts walking toward her. He walks quickly. Really quickly. His walk turns to a run. He is nearing Ebony. He is still sprinting.

"Thomas! Slow down!" Ebony screams. She goes to move out of the way but he just turns toward her. He slams into her like a concrete wall. She is knocked to the ground, her arms scraped. Thomas stands, his head bleeding.

Suddenly, with a flash, 3 people wearing thick gear are surrounding Thomas. But just as quickly as the mysterious people appeared, Thomas disappeared. Ebony states in awe of this.
The mysterious people consist of 2 girls and a boy. One girl with blonde hair carries a large sword. She has a tattoo of a symbol, Ebony has never seen, on her neck.

The other girl is much different. She has dark brown, almost black hair. Her eyes are a light blue. She has pale skin. Imagine a creepy vampire girl. That's what she looked like.

Now the boy was the most interesting, but in a very attractive way. He had dark brown hair but not black. His eyes were green with blue flecks. He had suntanned skin. He had a a tattoo on his forearm but she couldn't tell what it was.

The people start toward Ebony but she moves backwards, like a spider being chased by a dog.

"We won't hurt you, ebony." Says the blonde girl. "We are here to help you. You have to come now before more show up." She seems nervous.

"I don't know you so stay away!" She screams, her vision becoming really blurry. She starts to feel dizzy and she falls backward landing on her back. The 3 people rush toward her. The boy picks her up. The last thing Ebony sees is these beautiful familiar eyes. She suddenly disappears along with the three strangers and Ebony's insides twist and turn, her head spinning until she passes out with that image of eyes burning in her skull.
