Love Letters!
___
The next day Olivia repeated her usual routine. Driving to work, forgetting her key card, begging Lois to open the door and then taking the elevator to the 4th floor. She had expected to continue it by greeting everyone when she walked in and then talk to Noah about something. But this time something was off, very off.

Shayne hadn't even made made eye contact with her, and Courtney was doing the opposite, shooting daggers at her like she had killed someone. Even Noah was acting weird. He just mumbled a quiet "Hi", not even bothering to look at her. The only normal things was Keith saying his usual "What's good Lib Lib?". She was definitely a bit confused.

But they had a tight schedule, so she shook it off and started writing a script for a future video. Maybe everyone was distracted with work. Or maybe they were just tired. That was probably it, she shouldn't think too much about it.

Keith however, didn't share the same mind set as Olivia. "Yo, did someone die or something? Why are y'all being so quiet?", he called out. "I guess something just ruined my mood.", Courtney sassed, giving Olivia a look. "Woah, what's that supposed to mean?", Noah answered defensively. "Let it go, Noah. She probably didn't mean anything.", Shayne insisted. He thought it was a nice gesture, but Courtney apparently didn't appreciate it. "I can speak for myself.", she declared instead. Olivia didn't want to be the cause of a fight so she quickly reassured the squad that "everything was fine" and that "everyone probably just was in a mood". The rest of the squad just mumbled to themselves as an answer, but stopped arguing. There was still some leftover tension in the room, but everyone got back to their work and sat in silence until lunch.

At their lunch break Mari and Boze walked, in laughing about the video they had shot earlier on. "Are you coming?", Boze asked both Courtney and Olivia. Courtney stood up and grabbed her purse, but Olivia stayed seated. "I think I'm gonna stay behind this time, I have some work I got to catch up on.", she sighed. Everyone was shocked by Olivia's words. Never since she started her had she missed out on girls lunch. It was a tradition that none of the girls had even thought about breaking. "Are you sure?", Mari asked, feeling a little confused about the situation. It wasn't like Olivia to miss out on these things. "Yeah, I'll just eat with you tomorrow.", Olivia asserted.
Courtney didn't really seem to mind Olivia's absence though. "Let's go then, girls.", she just shrugged, leading the way out. Mari followed doubtfully, but Boze stayed for a second or two, giving Olivia a lingering stare. She didn't speak any words, but she was saying a lot with her look. Olivia immediately understood it and reassured her that it was fine with a hand gesture. Boze stayed for a second more, but jogged to catch up to the leaving group when they called for her.

When they finally left everyone's eyes was on Olivia. She had put her headphones on, blasting music, so she didn't notice it. It was quiet for about 6 minutes until Noah tapped her on her shoulder. "What the hell was that about?" He broke the silence. "What do you mean?", she asked. Noah gave her a look saying. 'Stop with this bullshit' and stated; "You know exactly what I mean.". "I have work to do, like I said. Everything feels so off today. Everyone was acting was acting weird this morning, so I didn't really get anything done.". Noah felt guilt rush through him. It was most likely the letters creating the tension between the gang, so he let it go.

Olivia put her headphones on again and continued writing the script. Silence by Khalid started playing and she got lost in her own little world. She got about three quarters done when someone tapped her on her shoulder, again. "Seriously, Noah? It's not that big of a deal. Can you just let me work?" She cautioned. "Oh, sorry. I'll just talk to you later then." The Shayne responded to her surprise. "No! That's okay. Noah was just bugging me about something unimportant earlier, and I wasn't feeling like answering his questions. But we can talk." She insisted. "Could we maybe not talk here?" Shayne asked. "Yeah, sure, shall we go outside? Maybe take a walk?" She requested. "That sounds lovely." Shayne agreed.

The duo made they way to the elevator, when Anthony suddenly ran in. "Hey, Olivia, are you busy right now?" He asked. "I was actually just about to leave." She said, pointing to herself and Shayne. "Could you come by my office later, when you come back?" Anthony replied. "Okay, I'll swing by." She smiled. "See you later then." Anthony waved, stepping into the elevator next to theirs to go back up.

Olivia and Shayne continued down to the exit. They smiled at Louis and continued out to the warm streets of LA. After walking next to each other quietly for a while, Olivia decided to finally break the silence. "What did you want to talk about?" She let out. "I- I mean you- I don't really know how to say this..." Shayne begun. "You're a nice girl, Olivia. I mean you're smart, funny, kind, beautiful and so much more, but I don't feel the same way.". Olivia's smile got replaced with a confused look. What the heck was he taking about? He sounded like he was rejecting her. Was he actually rejecting her? She didn't even like him like that! Not anymore. "What are you talking about, Shayne?", she asked, making sure he knew she wasn't getting it. "I read your letter...", was all she heard before her thoughts got to loud to focus on anything Shayne was saying. How the hell did he get her letter?! It was safely looked in her drawer with the other ones. It made no sense. Did this mean all the letter were out? Or was it just Shayne's? Not that it would be that much better! He had just broken up with Courtney, it probably seemed that she wasted no time trying to get with him. All the anxiety, mixed with the shock of the situation, was making it hard to breathe. She started hyperventilating, but it only made it harder. Her head was spinning, and so was everyone else around her too. Black spots dotted her vision and before she could even blink, she lost consciousness.

I've decided to make this story short. The chapters are more than a thousand words each, so I don't think a bunch of chapters are necessary. There will probably be between 9-12 chapters and then an epilogue, maybe bonus chapters if I feel like it would fit. What do you guys thing about that? Should I make it short? Or would you rather have a longer story? Feel free to comment your thoughts.

-Much love, Luna
