Love letters!
___Olivia had always been an anxious person, but today she was even more anxious than she's ever been before. Today her and Shayne would reveal to everyone that they were 'dating'. She knew some people wouldn't be anything less than supportive, but it was almost guaranteed that Courtney would not react well. But then again, that was the point of they're fake relationship. Courtney was supposed to get jealous and realise that she never should've dumped Shayne. And if all went well, she would be out of this mess in a week or two.
In an attempt to distract herself Olivia started mindlessly strolling through Instagram, waiting for Shayne to text her that he was outside. She honestly couldn't care less what people were posting about, but it was a good method to kill time. Everything would be easier if Shayne hurried up. When he got there he would most likely be able to calm down her nerves like he always does. Whether it's by telling an awful joke or giving her one of his bear hugs, Shayne always had a calming effect on Olivia.
Ding!
From Shayne 🐸💪:
Hurry up, I'm outside your flat.

Finally! At last she got the notification that she'd been waiting for. She grabbed her purse and made her way out of her flat, locking the door behind her. She ran down the stairs and saw Shayne in his car phoning someone. Olivia got in the car and waved at him. She would've said 'hi' and hugged him, but she didn't want bother him when he was one the phone so a wave would do.
"Whatever," Shayne rolled his eyes. He was obviously pissed at the person on the other side of the phone. His shoulders were tense and his jaw was clenched. "Do what you want, just stop calling me to tell me about it. I don't care!"
Shayne hung up and turned around to face her. He didn't look angry anymore, instead he looked kinda hurt. Even though he was trying to cover it up by smiling at her, Olivia knew him well enough to see through his facade. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, of course I am. No need to worry." Shayne said, brushing it off. He turned around again to keep his eyes on the road and started driving towards the office. If he ignored the wave of sadness that had hit him after the call it would eventually go away.
"Okay," Olivia said, choosing to move one since he obviously didn't want to talk about how he was really feeling. But let's be honest, was she really expecting him to? Sure they were friends, but they weren't close enough to talk about those things yet. "How are we going to do this?"
Shayne raised an eyebrow, signalling his confusion. "Do what?" He asked. Olivia looked like him like he had two heads. "Announce that we're dating, stupid! We can't just waltz in there and scream that we're dating. So how are we going to tell them?"
