#10 ShuYang||

Title : Jealousy

Shuyang's been ignoring me for the past 2 weeks and it's really frustrating since he's . . . well my best-friend so it's kinda hard to be barely talking to him.

I can't even concentrate during lessons . It might seem exaggerated but I keep stressing over this and it's now getting to me.

And also since he's younger than me we also don't have any classes together for obvious reasons making it even more difficult to even try and interact with him.

"Y/N snap out of it ! " Mina said and I slowly turned to look in her direction. " Geez, you don't have to be so rude my dude, take a chill pill . "

When I looked up our teacher was starring at me directly in the eyes. I took a glance around the class and everyone was just looking at me with an 'oooo she's gonna be in trouble' look.

She pointed right at me then shouted, " DetENtIon THiS FRIdaY!!! " I sighed then I tried to pay attention for the rest of the lesson.

*Time Skip*

*Lunch*

Now I was stressing over my friendship with Shuyang and had a big fat detention as a cherry on top. 

Mina and I sat with boystory and some of our other mutual friends . After we greeted the others  I sat next to Shuyang but he seemed a little off .

He just stared down at his phone the whole time and didn't pay attention at all . " Hey Shuyang" he looked at me and simply replied with, " Hi Y/N "

He then just continued scrolling through his phone . It's like he didn't even care if I was here or not . It made me feel somewhat sad but also annoyed at the fact that he was ignoring me for no apparent reason .

Mina noticed I was upset and gave me a reassuring smile .It gave me the courage to confront him .There was an awkward silence between us until I spoke ." Yangyang why are you avoiding me ?"

I asked and he plainly looked away from me." I'm not Y/N your imagining things . " He said while looking back down at his phone.I scoffed at  his statement. Since I'm older than him it made me angry and annoyed that he didn't want to just tell me the truth.

" You never call me Y/N you always call me using my nicknames an you're suddenly being so serious now." I was now getting really frustrated ." Just tell me what's wrong ! " I yelled a little too loud.

The others were now starring at us." DO you ReaLLy want to know whats wrong ? " He shouted. I gulped in fear. This was the first time he had ever gotten angry at me or even shouted at me. He was usually so sweet to me.

I could feel my eyes get watery. Everyone in the cafeteria was looking at us in shock and also confusion .Shuyang clenched his fists before saying , " If you really want to know why don't you go ask your new boyfriend instead of me !!!! "

My eyes widened in disbelief . " I don't have a boyfriend you need to chill ! " He was visibly angry. He clenched his fists while saying, " Y/N please stop lying if you want to save whatever type of friendship we have left ."

He got up from his seat and glared at me." And even if I do have a boyfriend why do you care so much anyway?" Shuyang slammed his fist on the table making a loud alarming sound which almost made me stumble back then he stormed angrily out of the cafeteria.

I snapped out of my thoughts and ran after him until he finally stopped somewhere in the hallway. He turned around to face me.

" Y/N I saw the two of you hugging by the school gates last week , " He sighed " Just stop lying to me .  .  . please ? " He said in the most heart breaking voice ever .

" Who are you even talking about and why are you so angry at me because you think I have a boyfriend. " He proceeded to say, " I saw you hugging Dianjia ge and holding his hands you don't have to pretend anymore ."

It took me a few seconds to remember what he was talking about and then it hit me. " Dianjia is just my cousin he's like a brother to me "

I could see his eyes light up a bit. " I would never have a boyfriend without getting confirmation from my best-friend first. " Shuyang stood still while trying to process what I had just said .

He took in a deep breath and continued to say "Y/N I like you " I felt my heart skip a beat.(a/n- Eww the cringe is so real,I might not make it out alive)"Do you like me too?"

I hesitated before answering him " Of course I do .  .  . I mean you are my best-friend after all. . . ." There was a slight look of disappointment on his face.

"You know that's not what I mean Y/N " He heavily sighed " Why do you always make things so difficult for me" Shuyang leaned against one of the lockers "I mean do you like me "

I was shocked because of the question he had just asked me, I didn't want to ruin our friendship or anything . "I think I li- no I'm sure I like you but . . ." 

His eyes were filled with worry and hurt. I felt bad for making him doubt my feelings but I had to say it.

"Aren't you afraid about what people will say about our age difference . . . I mean I don't want you to get hurt by what others may say." Shuyang chuckled before replying, " I really don't care. They can say what they want but I'll always love you Y/N jiejie"

There was a loud cheering coming from behind me and I was surprised to see Mina and boystory standing there smiling.

Zeyu screamed out loud "Just kiss already" causing the others to die of laughter.

I death glared at Zeyu who was holding his stomach from laughing too hard I was about to say something but  I was cut off when I felt Shuyang pull me into a tight hug .

I hugged back and we stayed like that for a while . When he pulled away he had the cutest expression on his face .

The end

"Wait a minute a/n." a wild Y/N appears from the shrubs and hops into a/n's direction. "So you're just gonna leave me with a detention for no apparent reason.

"Well yeah what do you want me to do" a/n replies 
Y/N gives a death glare then smirks after.

* 5 minutes later *

The loud screams of pain and horror could be heard from a mile away. "Why did you give me DeTEntIon " Y/N shouted while continuing to tickle a/n to death.

Wass poppin erbody . Just kidding but like that was well this was the worst chapter by far I'm not gonna lie and it also kinda makes me feel bad for posting this so I apologize greatly for wasting yo time like this. Yeah and don't forget to vote ya know
