This morning Jeno was in Jaemins arms. Sleeping soundly as if no care in the world. Jaemin wanted it to be like this forever. Never ending. He just couldn't think about the world without Jeno. Without someone to wake up too. Without a smiley eye smile looking up at him, and that laughter that sent Jaemins heart into air.
He just couldn't.
And now they were here, with Jenos foster parents, in a train station. Jenos little hand griping to Jaemins, and leaning close to him.
Jaemin had never felt so sad and tired in all one day. He's never felt so, unsure.
Unsure of what to do when his little baby was leaving, and gone.
He just wasn't prepared for this.
After two trains past the woman chirped up.
"Our train is the next!" She said happily and locked arms with her husband. Jaemin got disgusted at the movement and sight.
He looked down at Jeno and he was met with those brown orbs. He instantly softened at the sight.
"I don't wanna leave." Jeno whispered and Jaemin could see his eyes get glassy. He instantly leaned down and hugged Jeno. Jeno hugged back, on the verge of tears.
"I don't want you to leave either." Jaemin now heard a train and the woman.
"It's here." She whispered sadly while looking at the two.
Jaemin wasn't ready. He wasn't ready to let Jeno go. He hugged Jeno tired and now was crying. Jeno was too.
"Promise me you'll come back." Jaemin whispered so that only Jeno could hear.
Jeno instantly nodded.
"I will Jaemin. I promise." He whispered back in a cracked voice.
Then they separated and Jaemin gave a quick kiss on top of Jenos head, and stood up.
The woman held her hand out, and Jeno hesitantly took it. They started walking into the train, and Jeno looked back at Jaemin.
Jaemin looked right back at him. Sadness filled both of their auroras and feelings.
Jaemin watched as his baby got onto the train. Sat down. And looked out the window.
He watched the train start moving. He wanted to move, he wanted to yell and just beg for Jeno to stay with him. Then the train finally swooshed past.
It was gone.
And so was Jeno.
Jaemin just stood there. Then he slowly turned and walked out the under ground station. He walked right into rain and cold. He didn't care though. He started walking and stopped when he pasted by a familiar park.
Nobody was around. It was night time. Jaemin walked his way sadly over to the bench, and sat down. He then looked around and looked beside him. That's where Jeno used to sit. Beside him. And they would play here for hours, or until Jaemin had work to do.
Jaemin stuck his cold hands in his pocket and expected warmth, but instead he was met with something else. He slowly pulled it out, and his eyes instantly watered.
It was a bracelet.
It had the words written "JEno and Jaemin".
Jaemin gave a breathy laugh at how Jeno spelled his name. He then felt tears streaming down his face, but he smiled. He smiled as he thought of all the memories he's made with the smaller one.
Yes, their time was short.
But special.
So special to Jaemin. He slowly wrapped the bracelet around his wrist and looked down at it one more time before putting his hands into his pockets. He gave a sad sigh and leaned his head back, looking up at the starry sky above him.
"Don't forget me Jeno," he started.
"Because I'll never forget you."
