As he held Cathy in his arms he could see Jen's face but then Cathy's eyes started to close slowly.He placed her down on one of the hospital beds and sat by the edge watching Cathy drift away into a deep sleep.He sat there for hours admiring her innocent pink face and a smile that came after.

As the hours passed it was already 8pm .He started to feel worried because she wasn't moving or even waking up.Luckily a nurse came in at the same time. Aiden explained what was wrong with Cathy.The nurse quickly picked her up and carried her to the nursing room and fed her.In a couple of minutes she was all better,the nurse handed her over to Aiden and she was finally safe.It was finally time for Aiden to take her home.He gathered his things and headed out of the hospital with cathy in his arms.On the way out ,the nurse stopped him
"Hi ,Its Aiden right?"she said holding Cathy's small hands *smiling*
"Yes By the way thanks for everything"Aiden said in a bittersweet voice
"No problem its my job to help"she said in a cheerful voice."So where are you two headed"
"I'm just going to take cathy shopping for some clothes "
"Do you mind if i join you?"
"No,not at all"Aiden said in an insisting voice
She quickly grabbed her bag and walked with him taking Cathy into her arms.As they walked down the street they talked the whole way through .When they entered the first store she picked a pink dress with white flowers.Aiden admired her actions towards Cathy especially the time when she made Cathy smile .
