The Street Dancer

Chapter 1

Jazmine's POV:

I was walking into my favorite coffee shop, Moon bucks, and i noticed outside of the coffee shop there was a huge crowd. I walked closer and figured out that there was a dance group performing. "Excuse me?" I asked a girl in the front row. "What?" she looked at me and answered kind of snobby. "Ummm, I was wondering what group this was, do you know?" She rolled her eyes and pointed to a sign stapled on a tree. It said, "XMOB PERFORMING TODAY! LIVE STREET PERFORMANCE!" I stepped back. I had no idea what XMOB was so i decided i should move around the crowd into the coffee shop. Everyone started clapping, I turned around an the group was pulling people in people to dance with them! It was funny trying to see people dance when they couldn't. I have taken dance classes so I knew how to dance. Right when i was going to walk away someone grabbed my hand. I turned around to see one of the dancers holding my hand. He was cute, he had a million freckles, big brown eyes, nice smile. I was already crushing on him. I guess i was in a love at first sight phase because i just kind of stood there looking at him, when finally i realized he was pulling me in to dance. It was really fun dancing! And Freckles was good at it too. At the end when everyone was packing up the street dancer boy walked up to me. "I'm Cameron, here's my number, maybe we could hang out sometime?" At first i just stared at him, i mean i'm not the prettiest girl then i shook my head as of saying yes then he smiled and walked away. I walked into Moon bucks feeling like i'm the prettiest girl ever!

Cameron's POV:

I was performing with my dance group in front of Moon bucks. Everyone looked like they enjoyed watching us! Then all of a sudden one of my friends in the dance group yelled, "COME ON AND DANCE" and he pulled someone in and she started dancing. it was an interesting idea, but i liked it. I looked around, "Who should i pick?" Then out of the corner of my eye i saw a beautiful girl. She had dark brown hair with natural highlights. She had dark brown eyes and an amazing smile. I grabbed her hand and she just kid of looked at me for a minute. Soon, she was dancing! She has clearly taken dance classes she was amazing! When we were done dancing i took a piece of paper with my number on it. I looked around and saw her going into Moon bucks and tapped her shoulder. I took out the piece of paper and said "I'm Cameron, here's my number, maybe we could hang out sometime?" She looked at me with her gorgeous eyes and nodded her head. I smiled and ran to catch up with my dance group. I was over the moon happy!
