Necessary Jealousy

Scott woke up the next morning all ready to hang out with Stiles. When he walked to go get Stiles Derek answered the door. He looked down at Scott and he growled. Scott scoffed at him then he smiled when he saw Stiles.

He looked absolutely adorable, he was wearing a scarf. Maybe Scott loved it because it reminded him of Issac, but that didn't matter. He shook the feeling off when he saw Stiles smile back at him. He watched Stiles step out the door giving Derek a kiss goodbye. That made Scott's smile move into a frown.

Finally when Stiles closed the door a smile returned to Scott's face. "You ready?" he asked Stiles licking his lips as he looked down at the small boy before him.

Stiles nodded and they walked off together. Scott couldn't take his eyes off of Stiles. But little did Scott know Derek was watching from the window. Derek growled he gripped the side of his pants. He heard a chuckle from behind him causing him to twist around.

Peter.

Derek rolled his eyes and he ran his fingers through his hair. Peter smiled at him and propped his feet up.

"someone's jealous" Peter teased and he laughed at Derek. "I mean Stiles would never go for someone like Scott." he stood up and took a sip of whiskey. "although I can't say the same for Scott." He shrugged.

Derek widened his eyes. "What do you mean" he gulped down fear. He wasn't jealous I Mean Scott was just Stiles' best friend, that's all. Right? Oh god he was questioning it. And now he was pacing.

Peter rolled his eyes and he put the cup down. "Stop that. You look terribly stupid. It's seriously embarrassing" Peter cocked his eyebrow. "I mean.....Scott is totally fucking head over heels for Stiles." He took another sip of his drink. "But you can tell Stiles doesn't feel the same. Then again you have to remember Scott is way stronger and faster then little baby Stiles." He laughed. "Plus Scott's a Werewolf. Stiles is a little bitty human" he shrugged "basically Scott's the Wolf and Stiles is the Bunny" he laughed. "He won't make it out there" Peter flopped back down on the old couch.

Scott walked beside Stiles. He tried to gather his words carefully. He turned to look down at Stiles. "So ummm how long has it been?" he trailed off for a while and finally clarified what he meant. "I mean since you and Derek got together."
