Derek's sorrow brought him to a cold, damp place. Derek was standing before the pool. He had once remembered. That stupid Jackson. But that wasn't what was running through his mind.

Derek wanted to jump right in and never come out. But he didn't want anyone to find his body either, especially Stiles.

Derek's mind went blank and his body became heavier than the ground keeping him standing. He plummeted down into the cool, blue water closing his eyes as tight as he could.

Derek sank down slow and steady. His heart beated slower and slower by the second, memories of life flashed through his mind. He hot the bottom and everything went quiet. So close to death his heart almost stopped.

But there was another splash. Hands grabbed onto Derek's back. These hands pulled him up.

These hands shook like mad men. These hands belonged to none than Stiles. They were confused and scared. His hands shook Derek and pumped on his stomach screaming for him to wake up.

Finally after about 5 minutes Derek gasped for air as water poured out of his mouth. His eyes were dim and shaky as he looked up at Stiles.

A bright smile still grew on his face. He wanted to say he loved Stiles but the words wouldn't escape his mouth.

Stiles looked down at him, scared and mad.

"are you crazy!" he yelled with tears in his eyes "you could've died derek" his voice cracked. Anyone could here the sadness in his voice.

Derek coughed and water poured from his mouth he smiled up at Stiles "I would rather die than have you hate me" he stated and touched the back of Stiles' neck.

Stiles looked at him wide eyed "I don't hate you Derek" he Insisted but Derek denied. "I was just mad that's all." he looked down "I did this to you I'm terrible maybe we shouldn't be"

Derek's smile turned to a shocked frown. "no no Stiles don't say that" he held Stiles' hand tight but Stiles retaliated he pulled away and looked at his knees.

"bye Derek" Stiles kissed Derek's cheek then he got up and left. Derek looked at his hands and his shocked look turned into a sad angry frown. He got up and kicked the ground in anger going after Stiles.
