"jeonginnie did you fall asleep?" the younger quickly looked up. "no of course not." he rubbed his eyes and rested his head back on the couch. "a little bit tired tho." both boys flinched at the sound of high pitched giggles coming from the other room. "sorry tonight was kinda boring and my sister and her friend kept bothering us." jeongin shook his head. "of course it wasn't boring, a bit annoying. but hey i bet we're worse than them." he jokingly hit chan's shoulder.
"we should go to sleep then, it's over three am and i don't want your mom to think you did weed or something because your eyes are red." jeongin nodded and they went to the other room to pick up the mattress, only to see that it wasn't there. "huh that's weird. mom! where is the extra mattress?" chan shouted getting a response back from his sister, saying that her friend took it. "dammit."
"it's okay chan i can sleep on the couch, it's really comfortable." the younger offered. "there is no way you're sleeping on the couch, i will sleep on the couch and you on my bed." jeongin pouted but then eventually agreed on it.
jeongin lied under the soft duvets and closed his eyes as he heard chan grabbing his phone from the nightstand. "goodnight channie hyung." the younger whispered.
after what felt like three hours of tossing and turning around jeongin finally stood up. he couldn't fall asleep in someone else's house without them being there. he quietly walked down the stairs, -still hearing chan his sister talking in the other room- and looked at the sofa. chan was laying there watching something on his phone. good that he wasn't asleep i didn't want to bother him. the younger thought.
"channie i can't sleep."
