The loud buzzer went off snapping out of my thoughts .

I quickly stood up  and gathered my belongings eager to leave seeing as thought i had finished my exam 30 min ago as well as it being the last day of the semester.

I had studied day and night for this  calculus exam and  not to sound cocky but was sure I passed

I am currently  a sophomore majoring in  business administration at thee university of miami

Have a good summer" my professor   Mr. Lewis said I handed him over my exam . you to" I  replied back with a smile .

I quickly walked out the classroom and out  the building  spotting my all black Jeep Wrangler.

Walking over to my car  I immediately  jumped in .

After turning on my Bluetooth and letting the sound of  Kevin Gates run through the speakers I  drove of the busy campus.

      I was on my way to my parents house . My mom had told me to stop by when I got out of class . They only lived  20 min away.

As much as I would have loved to go home shower and nap my mom was cooking her famous seafood Alfredo  for lunch my fav.

  I of course couldn't  turn that down.  With this being exam week I had been eating out a lot.

I was in need of a home cooked meal .

   Pulling up to my parents house I spotted my mom's  white Mercedes and my dads custom one in the driveway .

Turning of the car I grabbed my purse quickly hopping out hearing a loud grumble come from my stomach. 

using my key I unlocked the door instantly getting hit with the fresh garlic smell.

Walking closer to the kitchen I could hear Fantasia playing and see my mom and dad dancing.
                              

   "Hey ma hey dad" I spoke  loudly over the music startling causing them to stop .

"I'm getting old baby girl can't be scaring ya pos like that" my dad said with a laugh.

"you came just in  time the food just got done "my mom spoke laughing as well.

"Go wash your hands and come take take a seat 

Shit ain't gotta tell me twice I mumbled  to
Myself walking to the restroom to do just that .

"Stop cussing I'm my damn house my mom loud mouth yelled ". Swear you could never get nothing past her .

I gently placed my fork on the glass plate . I was now regretting that second plate . that's what I get for being greedy.

I stretched as I let out a big yawn I was full and now ready to take a nice hot shower and fall asleep.

I had  stayed up till  about 3o'clock  in the morning studying for my exam which was so easy it wasn't even needed.

I was so happy the semester was finally over . another night or two of that and I would be sure to have bags under my eyes.

Alright thanks ma for lunch  I'm about to head out get some rest I  said looking at my mom .

Alright baby you do that you look so  drained she said .

I  waked to the sink placed my dish in and washed it . 

After that I walked over to the front door picking up my purse of the stand  as my parents stood behind me .

Okay drive safe my mom and dad spoke at the same time .

Will do love you Guys I replied kissing them both on their cheek .

Walking over to my car I unlocked it and hopped in . I messed with the ac setting turning it on cool .

This Florida heat was no damn joke .

Looking up I waved goodbye to my parents as I backed out and drove of.
