Today was a cleaning and chill day for me . Yung blue miss it filled my house through the speakers.

As I was singing along to the lyrics and washing the counters the music suddenly stopped and I was getting a phone call.

I ran over to my phone to see who it was. The caller I'd read mom💞 and I knew she was about to chew my but off.

I hadn't called my parents in a couple days and it totally slipped my mind to call my mom when I woke up .

"Hey mommy "I said trying to butter her up.

"Don't hey me little girl you act like u can't call to check up on your old folks no more she said."

My mama was so dramatic . I hadn't talked to her in two days and she acts like it's been a week.

"I'm sorry ma I just figured u and dad was busy so i just didn't call "I said coming up with a excuse.

"Mhhh" she replied

Me and my mom talked a little bit longer before she was being called in to the hospital.

see she's always busy.

Pressing play on my phone I continued to clean up and sing along to the songs playing .

30 minutes later my house was spotless and I was starving.

I would cook something but I was way to hungry to prep some food and let it cook so I decided on getting wings from wingstop.

I hoped it wasnt crowded today because I was to hungry to wait like I said for anything rite now.

I ran to my room and threw on a pink sweater some white shorts and my sneakers

I grabbed my purse ran back downstairs locked up  and hopped in the car.

Pulling up to wingstop I groaned seeing the packed parking lot.

I really wanted some wings and every other wing place was in the middle of Atlanta and way to far of a damn drive.

Sucking it up and I got out the car and headed inside .

I was surprised there was no body in line . Everyone was just sitting down wating on their food or eating.

" hi What can I get for you today the cashier spoke

"Hi lll take the 8 piece honey bbq wings and a side of fries with extra bbq sauce and blue cheese please"

She typed away on the register .

Will that be all she asked

"No"ill take a 10 piece hot wing with a side of fries as well the all to familiar voice said from behind me .

I hoped he didn't think I was paying for his food because he was sadly mistaken

"Okay your total is going to be $20.35" the lady said bringing me back to reality

"Oh no were not together "I said while i turned around giving him a mean look.

"Yes we are" he said pulling out his card While I rushed to pull out mine.

I was a independent girl.

Before I could pull my card out of my junky wallet the lady was already swiping his card.

She handed him the receipt and told us to wait a a couple of minutes for the food.

"Thankyou but you didn't have to do that I mumbled moving to the side as he did the same "

"Damn why I couldn't just get a thankyou and not all that other shit" he said .

I just rolled my eyes and kept quite lowkey shivering at the intensive staredown he was having with the side of my face.

"When you gonna stop fronting on a nigga he said"

I looked at him

" I dnt even know you to be fronting" I replied.

"I mean I can just see that you the dont need a men for shit and all niggas wanna do now a days is fuck type of female"

"I mean u said it not me I said laughing "

"and I know you ain't got no boyfriend cause he wouldn't approve of u walking out looking this good "he said making me blush.

How could he say that. I mean I looked basic as hell rite now.

I immediately put my hand over my cheeks trying to stop from smiling.

"So say can we act like the whole club thing didn't happen. "I was drunk as hell and I apologize for coming at you so strong "

I thought about it for a sec . I mean he was fine as hell I could admit and who said I couldn't have some fun.

Bringing out of my thought I spoke

"And I accept your apology and sorry for messing up your expensive Gucci shirt I said laughing"

"It's all good he replied back smiling "so since we cool you gonna let a nigga take you out sometime" he asked

I thought about it for a second

"I mean I guess if I'm free I said smirking" knowing I wasn't gonna be doing a damn thing.

"There you go stunting again how about you give me your number and I make it happen ."

I thought about it before I gave him my phone and he saved his number in it and I did the same on his phone .

our order number was being called seconds later so we both walked over to get our food.

He checked both bags before handing me my food

"Thankyou again for the food "I said looking at him

"It's nothing ma" he said making me blush again as we both started walking to the door

He had held the door for me and everything . I was truly impressed.

"Alright miss Mia guess I'll see you when we have our lil date" he said smirking showing his deep dimples.

"Not a date more like 2 people getting to know each other but yea I'll see you" I replied slickly

He only shook his head and smiled as he turned around and walked to his car as I did the same

Maybe he's not so bad after all I thought.
