Tate Langdon.

"Fuck!" That was another smashed plate. I looked at the pile of smashed up things infront of me.

I gritted my teeth and curled my fist up into a ball then began punching the walls. My knuckles started to bleed.

Thank god the walls are soundproof.

I put my back against the wall and slid down it in humiliation. What will I do without her?

What am I saying? Her father can't tell me what to do? I'm stronger than him. I'm more powerful. After all I'm a ghost. A spirit. He can't hurt me. No one can.

Only Carter of course.

Carter. I need to see her. It's only been a few hours but I miss her terribly. Usually after I run off she comes to see me. Her freak of a father probably has her locked up somewhere so she can't see me.

If she won't come to me. I'll go to her.

I got up and made my way up the basement steps. The creaking could be heard next door if the walls weren't soundproof.

I found myself outside Carter's bedroom. I opened it and saw she wasn't here. She wouldn't be downstairs, she likes to be alone when she isn't with me. Then it came to me.

The bathroom.

I walked into the bathroom and saw something I wish I never.

She was cutting again.

"Carter stop." I ordered.

"I can't. It helps the stress and the fear and everything go away." She sniffed.

"Fear?" I asked.

She nodded and more tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"I thought fear was nothing to you?" I asked.

"It wasn't until.." She trailed off.

"Until what?"

"Until I realised.." She trailed off again.

"Carter?"

"You didn't use protection."
