Meanwhile at Hugo's palace, he was getting ready to go to Enchancia Castle to meet up with Sofia. He was sitting on his bed, putting his boots on. Suddenly, his Enchantlet lit up, and he heard Sofia's voice. "Hugo, are you there?"
"I'm here," Hugo said. A rope emerged from the Enchantlet, forming a circle and showing Sofia.
"I know we have friends coming over to Enchancia Castle, but we have a Secret Library mission," Sofia said.
"What's today's story?" Hugo asked.
"The Tale of Princess Ivy and Queen Glory," Sofia replied.
"Ivy as in that black and white princess who once tried to take over Enchancia because Amber stole your amulet the first time she found out about it?" Hugo guessed.
"Exactly, and Glory is her sister," Sofia confirmed. "Ivy may have changed for the better, but she still hasn't reconciled with Glory, and it's our mission to help her do just that."
"Got it, but Ivy's home kingdom is far away, and it'll take us a long time to get there—our friends will be waiting for us," Hugo declared.
"No worries—I can ask my amulet to take us to the island where Ivy lives," Sofia declared. "Meet me at my castle ASAP, and I'll magically transport us to Ivy's island."
"Okey dokey," Hugo nodded.
After the conversation was over, Hugo rushed to the stables to get Electra. Just as he was about to leave, he saw his father, King Garrick.
"Ah, champ, leaving for Enchancia already?" Garrick chuckled.
"I have to, Dad—Sofia and I have a Secret Library mission, and we have to get it done before our friends arrive," Hugo declared.
"Ah, okay," Garrick smiled.
Hugo and Electra flew off to Enchancia together.
At Enchancia Castle, Sofia and her flying horse, Minimus, were waiting by the stables for Hugo and Electra.
"So the island we're going to is black and white?" Minimus asked.
"Yes, and we'd better be careful because Ivy's pet skunk, Roma, could blend in—and you know what happens when you frighten a skunk," Sofia declared.
"Right," Minimus nodded.
In no time, Hugo and Electra made it to the castle. "Here we are," he said.
"Okay, get ready," Sofia said. "We'd better hold hands for this." She and Hugo were positioned side by side and held hands, and then she held her magic amulet in her hand and told it, "Please take us to Ivy's island."
The Amulet glowed, and a flash of light surrounded Sofia, Hugo, and their horses—and they disappeared in a flash.
On Ivy's island, Ivy was helping Miss Nettle with her Wake-Upsy Daisies. The orange, red, pink, and yellow butterflies were pollenating the flowers.
"These daisies are looking good," Miss Nettle smiled.
Suddenly, Ivy's pet skunk, Roma, saw something and got Ivy's attention by tapping her foot.
"That tickles, Roma," Ivy giggled. "What is it?" She looked forward and saw a huge flash of light—and Sofia and Hugo appeared on their horses.
"Sofia! Hugo!" Ivy beamed. She went over and hugged the young royals.
"Hi, Ivy," Sofia smiled.
Hugo was happy to see Ivy but was shocked to see Roma. He didn't know about Ivy having a pet skunk, so he was a little nervous. "Ivy, do you know where's a skunk right there?" he gulped.
"Oh, that's my pet, Roma," Ivy told him. "Don't worry—he won't spray you so long as you don't scare him. He's really friendly."
"Okay," Hugo sighed, relieved.
"Wow, the flowers are looking great," Sofia smiled.
"Thank you, dear," Miss Nettle smiled. "Now what brings you to this fine island kingdom?"
"You see, my amulet is connected to an Enchanted Library, where I need to complete several unfinished stories and give them happy endings," Sofia explained. "The story Hugo and I are doing today has to do with Ivy and Glory."
"My sister?" Ivy asked.
"Yes, have you ever thought about reconciling with her?" Sofia asked.
Ivy sighed, "Well, ever since you came and helped me learn how to help friends, I thought about reconciling with Glory, but I never tried—it's been around 12 years since I've seen her, and I bet she's still mad at me for trying to overthrow her."
Sofia and Hugo felt sorry for Ivy, and they wanted to help.
"We can help—that's what we're here for," Sofia declared. "You remember my sister Amber. Well, stealing my amulet wasn't the first bad thing she did to me. When I first came to Enchancia Castle, she did some things that weren't so nice, but I gave her a second chance, and she's changed for the better."
"Yeah, and the same goes for my dad and uncle Grimtrix—his real name is Logan," Hugo said. "My uncle made an enchanted ointment for my dad that his ex-best friend Nicholas tainted, causing the spell to ruin Dad's skin, and Nicholas blamed Uncle Grim for the incident. It hurt Uncle Grim so much that he got pretty jealous of Dad. Sometime after my parents got married, Uncle Grim tried to overthrow them, and then he disappeared and changed his name from Logan to Grimtrix, so nobody would know who he really is. When Dad and Uncle Grim reunited, Dad decided to just let go of the past."
"And that's what you and Glory should do—you can't let the past keep you from reconciling," Sofia told Ivy. "If you don't let go of your past, it can ruin your future."
Ivy understood that dwelling on the past can ruin the future. "Okay, let's go," she nodded. "I have a boat that'll take us there."
Ivy, Roma, Sofia, and Hugo went to Ivy's boat. Since there was barely enough room for Minimus and Electra, the two horses decided to fly. Once Roma the royals were in the boat, they rode off to Ivy's home kingdom.
