░Chapter 4░

§ Angel's POV §

After my little scene with Carter, I started heading to class. As I walk down the halls, I suddenly remember Alyssa. I wonder where she is? We usually walk together at this time. I finally enter the classroom to see Taylor and Shawn sitting next to Alyssa on opposite sides, once again. I laugh to myself and tell Taylor to move so I can sit next to Alyssa.

"No, tell Shawn to move," Taylor spits.

"Haha, no. I want you to move. Shawn is perfectly fine," I sass. I don't really like Taylor because of his reputation. I've heard he's a jerk and sleeps around. Taylor growls at me.

"Don't growl at me, pup." I command in my alpha tone. Perks of being the alpha's daughter, ya know?

"Pup?" He glares at me.

"Did I stutter?" I glare back at him. His eyes full of rage, turning black. His wolf trying to take control. He quickly gets up and slams his shoulder with mine. Then, he sits directly behind Alyssa. I look over to Shawn and Alyssa. Alyssa looks flushed and Shawn looks like he's about to piss his pants. I smirk to myself. Carter then struts in and sits next to me.

"Hey boo," He whispers in my ear.

"Boo? You're already giving me pet names," I laugh.

"Yes, I am. Problem?" He cheekily smiles.

"Nope, none at all," I reply.

The teacher walks into the classroom and tells us all to shut up. Well then... I look to my right to see Alyssa and Shawn asking eachother if they want to be partners. They're both pretty smart so they're for sure getting an A. I look to my left at Carter who probably is going to make me do all the work. I sigh. Just when I was about to ask Carter to be my partner, Cameron walks into the classroom. Cameron's the beta, but he got held back a year and he's Alyssa's older brother. He's pretty smart too. He only got held back because he had too many absenses. I think I'll ask him to be my partner.

"Sorry I'm late," he mumbles.

"Cameron this is your last warning," the teacher warns him and he nods. He looks over to Alyssa and I and waves. He treats me also like his little sister because him and Nash are best friends. {a/n hehe it's Cash} He sits in the empty seat behind me, which is right next to Taylor. Taylor stiffens realizing that Alyssa's older brother is next to him. Haha Taylor trying to make a good first impression?

The teacher briefly explains the assignment and that we all had to have a partner. I look back and ask Cameron, who automatically says yes. I then look at Carter who looks betrayed and mad. He looks funny when he's mad, but in a cute way. He then asks Taylor if he wants to be his partner. Wow, that's gonna be an awesome partnership. Note the sarcasm.

After class I met up with Cam.

"Hey, wanna meet up somewhere to start on the project?" I asked him.

"Sure." he replied back with a smile

"Okay my house 6 o'clock and maybe if you want we could get a quick bite or something for dinner" I said hopefully.

"Alright, till then, see you later." he said while running off.

Why is he in such a rush...

I decided to go for a run since my wolf really needed it.

I walked to the woods and changed into my white wolf form. People say that wolves with a white coat are special but I inherited it from my mom.

I was pushed to the back of my mind by my wolf, her taking over. I relaxed taking in the things around me but still on guard for any dangers, though I'm sure Rose was paying attention.

The cool breeze brushing against my fur feels nice. I haven't went for a run in awhile and it feels refreshing and Rose sure is enjoying it.

Rose gave me control after an hour or so. I laid on my stomach by the small lake and took big laps of water.

Suddenly I heard a twig snap. I jumped in a fighting position, baring my teeth, ready to attack.

A big black wolf pounced on me out of nowhere and I felt the amazing sensation, only caused by my mate.

"Shift." he said through our mate link.

"No, I don't have any clothes!" I whined.

"Your are my mate it doesn't matter!" carter growled through the link.

I snipped at his neck playfully then slipped from underneath him and ran away. He growled loudly making birds from the trees fly away. Dang take a joke!

After a few minutes he caught up to me and jumped on me so I couldn't run away. I put my paws in front of my face, surrendering.

He seemed really scary right now, his eyes were dark meaning his wolf was out. That's why his voice was slightly off earlier.

I licked his muzzle trying to calm him down. Luckily it worked, his eyes slowly turning back to its light brown.

He blinked a few times before he realized what we were doing. He slightly smirked but got off of me and licked my nose.

We both went behind separate trees to change.

Once we both finished, Carter said,

"Hey want to go out for dinner tonight?"

Dinner. Dinner? DINNER. Omg I forgot about Cameron!

"No, oh um, sorry I can't I'm running late for something! I gotta go." I said while running off.

I didn't want to leave him hanging so I turned back around and kissed his cheek and ran back off to the pack house.

When I got in the pack house Cameron was already sitting on the recliners watching tv.

"Sorry I'm late? It doesn't seem like you were expecting me.."

"Oh really? Where have you been young lady?! You're an hour late." he said while standing up.

What the heck....

All of a sudden he started laughing and said, " I'm joking! You should've seen your face!"

"What ever you boob, let's get started with the project." I said, rolling my eyes.

After two hours of laughing and playing around we got started on the project. HAHA procrastination!

By twelve o'clock we finally finished the project and we weren't that tired so we played truth or dare.I dared Cameron to bang pots down in the kitchen because I knew someone would hear him.

Nash woke up and beat the crap out of him. Oh gosh that was too good.

We watched TV for an hour or so and Cam fell asleep. Before I slept I sat by the window and looked into the woods everything was quiet and looked peaceful. I thought about doing something tomorrow with my family or maybe Carter... I don't know.

I went to my beautiful bed and dug into my comforters getting comfortable, letting sleep take over.
