Chapter 9

Shikamaru

no i promised someone i wouldn't leave you alone i promised them i would protect you i said as i grabbed a kunai off the floor and ran at the figure fine then i guess theirs no changing your mind then shikamaru she said  you know it beautiful i said standing by her side kunai in hand its time we got to that exam babe i said she looked over at me and nodded lets finish this then she said alright i said as i ran towards the figure

Luna

shikamaru ran towards the figure and began to attack them repetitively i started to make hand signs for the fireball justu but instead of a fireball i blew out black flames  i stopped and said shikamru move i shouted as the flames head for him and the figure crap he said and jumped out of the way as the flames burned everything in there path no thats not possible the flames then turned purple and jumped onto the figure burning almost his entire body i heard a boom went off underneath us and the building started to crumble around us ahh crap boom bang shikamru lets go he nodded and jumped outside of the building after me oh thank god your safe i said i was so worried about you . its ok Luna im safe now i was so worried about you he said he was hired to kidnap you ? thats strange i guess ill have to talk to the hokage then anyways we need to get to the academy for that test sasuke said he cant stall iruka sensei much longer hes tried everything and he looks almost as dumb as Naruto does with his pranks ok ok then lets go quickly before the all mighty sasuke gets annoyed again he said alright then i said grabbing his hand and jumping along the buildings towards the academy once we got to the academy we ran towards the classroom window and when iruka sensei turned around towards the door waiting for Naruto to walk in.

i did my best to open the window as silently as i could but it didn't work he caught us and gave the entire class a pop quiz for those that hadn't done the final exam yet and got their ninja headband everyone glared at me and shikamaru and i just gave them a closed eye smile with a clear death glare underneath my smile they sweat dropped i then smiled at shikamaru and went sat down next to sasuke and started to do the quiz once it was done the final exam was to do the clone justu i had practices for months doing it over and over training day and night when i wasn't at home with mum i froze and said sensei can i go i need some air i heard whispers of the clan massacre from the other students i looked over at sasuke tears in my eyes we need to go i said and he nodded leaning over my shoulder and glaring at them iruka sensei can we he looked over at us with me crying on his shoulder he nodded and said you have 3 minutes outside go i ran for the door with sasuke and shikamaru following behind me hey hey Luna whats wrong i was remembering all the training i did for the test and i thought of i stopped again sasukes eyes widened and he new exactly why i was upset and said listen Luna lets talk to iruka sensei maybe you can do the exam another day i dont want to embarrass our clan we are two of the only remaining clan members left so please dont sasuke i heard shikamaru shout dont go there he said ok but but nothing sasuke go back inside ill handle this he said as i started to cry into his chest i looked over at sasuke tears pouring down my eyes i looked deep into his eyes and i saw vengeance he wanted who ever killed our clan dead i can see it in his eyes i took a step back in fear of what i saw in his eyes sasuke you dont have to go down that path you can follow me and become the light of our clan no sis i cant i know who did i watched him do it who did it then

sasuke who did it itachi he said in a angry tone he clenched his fists as he said his name sasuke he ran off shikamaru went to run off after him but i grabbed his arms and said dont when he gets like this theirs no convincing him let him cool off for a bit hey you all good now i looked up at him blushing with embarrassment . im im sorry you had to see that i said i dont normally break down in tears over my family its okay luna im here for you if you need me okay he said i nodded you think your good to go back inside i wiped the tears off my face and nodded ok lets go back inside my eyes started to tear up as we walked back i looked up to iruka sensei with puppy dog eyes and said sensei can i go home please i need to i stopped and he said its okay Luna i know why you got so upset and i completely understand look ill give you your headband now because i have seen you do jounin level justu without a problem you passed all the tests and are at the top of the class in everything but i have one question where is sasuke he went out there with you but didn't come back in with you yeah he left to go cool off he got pissed off with me because i was crying over well its the talk of the town i guess so you know then and ran off i went to go after him but luna stopped me i guess she didn't want me to get hurt by him i looked over passed iruka to see Naruto with a clenched fist and a angry look on his face i smiled at him he looked up at me and said iruka sense can we  get on with this I wanna become a ninja already ok ok Naruto calm down
