"you're back already?"

yoongi grimaced and lifted the carton of milk on the table.

"do you eat cereal, normally?"

"huh?"

"i don't really like cereal so i normally eat granola and milk."

jungkook snorts and raises his brows questioningly.

"wuh oh, watch out, new skinny legend"

"shut the fuck up, dude, it tastes good."

"what else, you eat quinoa instead of rice? "

"you DON'T?"

"i can't believe i like you. "

yoongi went silent and jungkook realised how he nonchalantly addressed the elephant in the living room.

"so.... do you wanna talk about... "

"us? ",jungkook cut helped him finish, "yes, yes i do."

"what are we? "

"what do you want us to be? "

yoongi scowled and smacked jungkook on the shoulder.

"don't rephrase my question and throw it right back at me. "

"i like you. and i know you like me too. so we're...well, we're definitely not just friends anymore. "

"i'm pretty sure friends wasn't even on the table captain genius." yoongi rolled his eyes, "do you wanna go out with me? "

"huh?"

"huh? "

"wait, no, no, no,  take it back, please," jungkook panicked, sending yoongi into panic mode as well.

"what?"

jungkook grimaced and cleared his throat.

"i kinda... wanted to ask you out first.", he said, awkwardly chuckling.

yoongi narrowed his eyes and let out an exasperated 'are you fucking kidding me'

"dude."

"just do it, please. "

sighing yoongi agreed and signalled for jungkook to continue.

"okay, okay, okay, okay," he rambled excitedly. "yo yoongi, wanna go out with me?"

jungkook grinned and managed a very out-of-time double wink. laughing, yoongi pretended to think for a bit before agreeing.

"okay, cool, just a reminder, it was me who asked you, okay, not the other way round. "

"sure, whatever floats your boat, kook."

"wood. "

"huh? "

"wood floats my boat. "

yoongi scrunches his face up in confusion and shakes his head.

"please don't ever try to be funny again."

jungkook pouted and decided to finally help yoongi shift the groceries into the kitched, grudgingly.
