slouches in chair, glaring at the apple on the table

"what did it do to you?" drops tray on table

gasps and sits up straight "you scared me."

"i think you won the staring contest," sits down beside her.

watches ryker open his dish, "sushi on the menu?"

nods head and plops a roll into his mouth, "mm, yeah"

giggles "not with your mouth full, you pig." hands him a napkin

wipes his mouth, "yeah, yeah." shrugs

"so your birthday is coming up,"

eats another roll "yeah,"

sighs "are we doing anything special?"

shakes head, "don't know, may be busy."

raises brow, "with whom may i ask?"

"a friend."

looks away "oh"

"does your secret admirer still message?"

"mhm."

"still curious who it is?

nods her head

sighs "i'm sure you'll find out soon."

eyes widen, "what do you know?!"

stays silent and fills his mouth with rice

"ryker!" squeals, hitting his shoulder

glares at her, rubbing his skin "i don't know anything," mumbles "i was just saying."

"oh" sighs

"tell you what," grabs her apple and cuts it up

watches his fingers break the apple into pieces "what are you doing?"

"shhh," places the cut up apple on a napkin in front of her

stares from the apple to ryker and shakes her head, "i don't get it"

sighs, placing his arm behind her back on the chair and scoots his closer. picks up an apple and holds it in front of her face, "all i want for my birthday."
