stands in front of the bed, playing with the edges of her sleeve,
"oh look," whispers, "look who's finally here,"
blinks and steps closer, "ryker—"
"if i would have known being in the hospital would make you come out of hiding i would have done it ages ago,"
sighs and bites her lip, "ryker don't" steps closer
"don't what?" whispers
"be like that," whispers with glossed eyes
rolls eyes and groans, then hisses when the pain tightens on his forehead
rushes to his side, "ryker—"
"rory," huffs "i'm fine,"
"it's obvious you're not ryker," snaps
scoffs "now it is,"
"what happened?"
closes eyes, "you already know,"
sits on the empty chair beside his bed
"where have you been?"
"that's not important right now,"
"rory,"
"ryker, you're in the hospital and all you care about is my whereabouts?"
gulps "it's always you rory,"
sighs and plays with the bracelet on his wrist
closes eyes "you're not eating,"
shakes head and whispers, "no,"
sighs heavily, "you lied to me,"
"i know," a tear falls
"why?"
shrugs and focuses on the beeping of his heart monitor "i'm sorry,"
"always are,"
nods
"everything is shitty,"
"it's my fault,"
"no rory, it's not."
wipes eyes, "yes" whispers
