(Ta'ka POV)
On the island people would bring up the evil spirit ta'ka. And tell children to behave or ta'ka will take your soul. And they would also say how evil and heartless he was. But they really don't know what the true story was . I was born in the year of 1306, back then there was a lot of religious beliefs and if you disobey the laws and beliefs you will be sacrificed to the devil. Over all I was pretty good kid, but it all changed the day I turned 13. The leader of the island/village made a law that every kid on their thirteen birthday was either given a wife or husband to love. But the thing was I wasn't ready for marriage, I was still a kid and didn't under stand anything that well yet. So that day was the ceremony for the kids who were selected to find their partners, and of course I was picked with the other 10 kids. I was nervous and scared, I was put at the end of the line. It took some time for the leader of village to get to me. Then he spoke to me " Leone, we have picked the perfect bride for you, her name is Angelina" then with all my might I told the leader. " You can not force me to marry a person I never met" then he gave me a glare of disappointment. " I thought you would say that, and for disagreeing with law, you will be sacrificed to the devil" I was shocked at what he said, then all of a sudden I felt a hands on my shoulders and pick me up and strapped me down to the pole. By then I was crying so much my head started to hurt. Then the village people started chanting the words from the Bible. Then I felt my body get cold and my vision started to fade, my skin turned to charcoal black. It looked it like I was wearing a black cloak, my face turning to bright blue. I was the devil now.

GUYS I'm so sorry for not posting in months, I've just had some stressful times with home and school, but now you guys get a chapter with a another cliffhanger. I will try to make the chapters a bit longer, and try to post on a daily schedule. Hope u guys enjoyed this page, see u next time
