Her bare feet hit the ground the cold soil making her feet freeze feeling the dirt in between her toes every step she took. As she ran out into the woods, hopefully, no one would follow her out there. Scary things would come into the woods but that's what fairytale stories told her. Emma had listened to or what she remembered as a kid. The hoot of an owl would be heard overhead she had to go faster she had to push herself to the farthest she could push herself. Hoping she wasn't dreaming but she knew she was and would soon wake up soon but Emma kept going running from everything the scary scientist with needles and the needles poking her in every spot in her body them trying to figure out how to use her powers for war or to beat something powerful. She wishes she could live a normal life like all the other 15-year-olds. Hanging out with friends every weekend arguing with parents yelling at them to leave her alone or sneaking out of the house to meet some boy to go somewhere she shouldn't. But knew she was stuck here and she knew that she would wake up any moment and have to go get more test. Emma never minded the test but would instead do anything but them, a lot were violent those were the easy ones she had been tested on since she was 4 she grew stronger over time and they never affected her body. Yeah, she would have bruises or would be sore but it didn't bother her it never hurt that bad. The ones she couldn't do were the mental test them being in her head that was her breaking point but everyone has a certain breaking point it's just that some of them don't know it yet or have found it yet. Suddenly Emma woke up and looked around her cell of a room it was dark the way she liked it so then she wouldn't see what was there. She could imagine what she wished was there she imagined herself being in a room with pink walls with clothes she liked or what someone her age would wear, a bookshelf and a mirror. But she knew she could never really have that her life would never be the same this was her life it had been her life for a long time she had gotten used to it, it would stay the same this was her life and she had kind of gotten used to it.
