"Buzz! Ring! Buzz!" An extremely loud noise echoes. "Buzz! Buzz! Buzz" sounded once again which slowly begun to irritate my sensitive ears.
Currently I'm laying sleeping in bed and the sound that wouldn't quit? Well that came from my alarm clock standing on my bedside table. As the noise grew louder I tried blocking it by placing my head between the pillows. But alas it did nothing but suffocate me which didn't help my situation.
"Buzz!" My alarm clock echoes once again. "Shut up!" I yelled slamming my fist against the snooze button, unable to control my own frustration for any longer. Suddenly a extremely loud clash causes me to jump wide awake. Regret slowly washes over me as I turn towards my bedside table. "Shoot! Not again!" I cry out. My once perfectly functional alarm is now scattered in millions of pieces. It's nothing unexpected though because every morning I'd end up breaking it. No matter I'll try fixing it later.
Now I was awake there was absolutely no point trying to fall back asleep. So once I letted out a small stretch and yawn I decided to open my curtains.
My eyes flinching slightly from the suns arrays which creeps through my bedroom window which was certainly unpleasant yet manageable during this time of day. However it did reveal a wonderfully small country side view.
The vibrant colours of bright oranges and blood red clouds fills the open skies as the sun slowly begins to set. By listening extremely closely I could hear the birds singing perfect melodies all in perfect sync. "What an amazing view" I couldn't help thinking while watching the sun continues to set. Eventually everything was over once the skies turned black as night.
This always ended being a strange habit of mine every time I'd wake up in the mornings. Just being able to witness such a extravagant sight every evening you'd wake up would cheer anyone up. The distraction almost work until my mind wonders back to my broken alarm clock. Stupid vampire strength causing me unnecessary problems for me.
The reason why I always do such a thing is because for most of my life all I've ever seen is the walls that have trapped me. So I'll admire this view just to get a taste of potential freedom.
There was a time when I tried to escape. Wanting to explore outside due to my own stupid curiosity. I remember everything like it was yesterday.
My small figure was standing behind these large wooden double doors. Walking up to towards the handle I tried to forcefully push it open. The only factor which prevented me from continuing this little stunt was my father.
Him being pissed off was a complete understatement. I remember him throwing me over his shoulders before heading towards a dark misty cellar. Just like an animal he threw me onto the harsh concrete floor. Before chaining me up with tight iron chains. His strength over powering mine even while I was struggling to escape what was holding me back. Then he walked away, locking me away for days. Without food nor blood tablets to help the hunger which I've had to hold onto until he released me.
Never in my entire life did I hate my father anymore that I did that day. But because of what happened it definitely insured my father that I wouldn't try escaping again. But what he didn't know was I've been physically and mentally preparing myself for the day I'd try again.
Finally quitting my daydream I've decided to search through my bed side tables draw for my calendar. "Wow..." I sigh to myself quietly. Today was my 18th birthday, yet little excitement was present inside of me. Nothing special usually happens on this day so for me it was just a normal regular day. Perhaps if dad showed more of an interest with me things would be different now.
Oh well nothing could be done about his behaviour. Jumping up from my bed I decided to change out my pyjamas and into something more comfortable. Today I've decided to wear a short plain top, a black skirt which was held together by a grey belt. As well as long black tights and a long white sleeved jacket.
