Angels Knight

Chapter two

The limo ride definitely felt like an  eternity after hours of constant driving. It would be perfectly fine if it wasn't for the fact that there is absolutely nothing to do which could occupy me.

Without any actual signs of us growing closer to the Academy. The only thing I though about doing was daydreaming out of the window. Which was beyond entertaining as all I could see was a green blur.

Still I never actually thought that something like this would ever happen to me. My entire life had just been completely flipped upside down within just a couple of hours. Though it's too quick to say if this is for the better or worse. If Luna was with me then I'd probably be thinking more positive but the possibility of that happening now is slim.

I couldn't help wonder how this Academy actually works though. A school for vampires and humans sounds way too surreal.  Plus the history between our races should make that type of pacifism impossible. Right?  All of the stories I've been told about humans just screamed aggressive and dangerous. Hopefully this isn't really the case.

"Miss? We are around an hour away from the destination. Need I remind you what needs to happen?" A voice rudely interrupts my thoughts. Turning my direction at the driver I realised what he meant. "Of course I haven't...Focus on your driving..." I respond plainly.

I didn't need him to remind me of it. But unfortunately the driver was right so I guess now is a better time to start. The time to start sealing away my powers and scent away.

Taking a small breath I close my eyes before focusing my magical energy. Using as much power as possible to lock away my abilities which was constantly fighting against my attempts. I could already feel my blood begin to slowly boil. Unable to accept the effects which was slowly effecting my body. Finally after many more minutes of concentrating my powers was finally locked away. And would probably be extremely difficult to unseal which was why this spell was dangerous.

Thanks to the spell I'm a very weak vampire. As I've just sealed away my pureblood abilities and as well as my magical power. Pathetic...Wherever I go I'll always be weaker than most people. Wait why am I thinking in such a negative way? Must stay positive.

Thinking on it carefully though I remembered Luna giving me an enchanted ring last year for my birthday. It's not powerful, however it should allow some magical power to slip through without causing any attention to myself. So I put the ring on my right hand and I'll hope that the enchantment actually works. Thank you Luna!

I am however extremely great full that my physical attributes has remained unchanged. If any trouble does occur I'd still be able to sense them with my heightened senses of smell and eye sight. Plus I'm also very skilled on martial arts and weapon training. After all me and Luna has been preparing for this for many long years. It's unfortunate father knows about that.

Also having many tutors who taught me of the outside world did help me develop a good descent amount of knowledge too. Which father paid for so I couldn't complain much about that. I guess it's the only thing he actually did good for me. So things aren't going to be to frightening for me which was calming to a certain extent.

Eventually I noticed that we was now driving down what appears to be an extremely busy main road. Many worn out building stood side by side each other while many different people flowed the streets. Street lights has lite up the areas up so people would be able to see where they was going. It didn't take much to realise the many shady characters that seemed to blend in the crowd. Not enough for me to notice though which was slightly funny. Seeing people who think they're invisible but aren't. Wouldn't want to mess with them though.

The area must be the local town which means only one thing. We must be extremely close to our destination. How long did I take sealing away my powers? It only seemed like a couple of minutes. Perhaps it took way longer than I realised. Oh well.
