"Wake up level C" a young voice calls out to me. No just five more minutes here. It's so peaceful and quiet wherever I'm at.

"I said wake up!" It tells me but I continue to ignore. The least thing I wanted was to be disturbed. The dream that I'm currently having is just way too good to let go of.

Suddenly I felt cold liquid all over my face, waking me up sharply. I didn't even have the chance to properly wake up so my vision is still blurry. Not only that but the clothes I've slept in are now completely soaked.

This is just just completely great! Someone has definitely decided to wake me up by pouring water on me. I couldn't help but begin to boil in anger. What an extremely childish thing to do to someone!

The sounds of laughter could be heard in my room and that's when I noticed a blond young boy in front of me. His bright blue eyes glistening with tears with a charming smile. Holding a small bucket while he himself looks like he's crying with laughter.

"So he's the one that woke me up huh?" I though while evilly chuckling to myself. He's going to totally regret messing around with me. Nobody messes with me and gets away with it. Even if I'm a level C or not!

Without even hesitating I tackle the vampire brat to the ground. Both of our bodies crashing together then landing forcefully on the ground. The pure shock on his face is just priceless.

The boy grunts when my face and his are nearly close together. Both of us remain oddly silent as the vampire boys face begin to grow red slightly. It only lasts for a couple of seconds though. Though thinking about the wired position we are in did also bring a slight blush on my face.

It's no longer fun now that things have gone awkward. Sighing I remove myself off him and sit back on my bed. Still fuming  due to waking up the way I did. Being his fault and all he should have expected that kind of response that I gave him.

"Hey! Why did you do that?" The vampire complains as he gets back up from the ground, clearly annoyed at me. "I could ask you the same thing! You're the one who just threw water at me!"

"Yes well you refused to wake up! Besides it was totally a funny reaction. Especially when you moved so quickly afterwards." He laughs causing me to glare at him. That was enough for him as he soon shut up.

"It wasn't even close to being funny so quit it while you still have your limbs! You had no right to go and do something like that to me! I utter with irritation. "It was the only thing that I could think of to wake you. You wouldn't even budge."

"Yeah don't even try to use that as an excuse. It's very pathetic." The boys face turns to a frown before suddenly pretending to cry. "Hey saying things like that really hurts my feelings. There's no way this pretty face is pathetic" he replies, clearly expressing his own self-confidence.

Who was he really trying to kid? Because it certainly isn't going to be me.

"Why did you need to wake me up? It's not even close yet to the classes begin yet is it?" I question slight curious. "No we've got a couple of hours yet before then. I wanted to wake you to give you this." The boy pulls out a glass and a small black box. They must be the blood tablets.

"I wasn't sure if you had any so I decided to bring you some. Hope that's okay?" He continues still smiling. Did he seriously wake me up for something that stupid?

"You pored water over my face for something like that? You kidding right?" I react with displeasure. He cringes at my cold response before awkwardly chuckling.

"No that's not just it..." I look at him in the eyes with confusion. What's going on and why has his face gone red again? "I wanted to talk to you. I don't know why but you're new here so I thought you could do with some company."

That caught me completely off guard. Every aristocrat that I came across yesterday was all snickering and laughing at me. So it was kind of hard for me to believe something like this to happen to me.

Nothing though from his tone of behaviour is showing me that he's deceiving me. Should I trust what he's saying is true. No I won't, not just yet.

"But why though? Nobody except Lord Kaname seemed to have any interest with me. So why do you suddenly want to talk to me?" My voice slightly cracking as I try my hardest to maintain my current composure.

"Like I said its something that I can't explain. There's just some kind of force that's drawn me to you. And now I suddenly want to know you more better. It's all so very confusing."

Yeah no kidding. That response didn't clarify a thing. Could it be that some of my pureblood abilities passed through the ring last night? Is that why he's drawn to me? I was so careful though! Besides isn't this stupid ring suppose to prevent anything like that to happen? What's going on!

Should I test this out? I'll try and be subtle about it though. I heard that if a pureblood is injured it's instinct for lower ranked vampires to try and protect them.

Well it's more like a guess. Vampires usually respect higher ups and if he sensed my power last night he might have been exposed to some of the effects. He must be really close to a pureblood on a regular basis to be effected this way though.

If I break the glass that the vampire brought in and cut myself on it. It might prove or disprove my theory. But that would also mean that he was here last night when I used my ring.

Well here goes...

I picked up the glass from the bedside table next to me then used some of my strength to break the glass. Resulting in my hand be cut open causing blood to spill out of the wounds.

Within seconds the vampire rushes to my side. The look of concern and worry filling his face. Just as I thought he must have sensed my power even just a little bit. Because if I was a level C he wouldn't have cared in the slightest. Well normally that happens, it could be different here though.

The vampire himself removed the large broken glass away from my hand the delightful removed any shards trapped in my wounds. He was so gentle and careful when doing so too. I couldn't help but blush slightly.

He must have saw it because he himself blushed before returning his focus back on my hand. Once all the shards was out my wounds almost healed instantly like nothing happened.

"Why did you do that level C?" He asks with more concern. "I was trying to test something out. Turns out I'm right..."

The blonde stares at me with wonder while I on the other hand just sighed. It's probably best if I change the subject now before everything gets shoved into the open.

"Never mind, don't worry about it. By the way my name is Carla. You better remember it." The vampire once again laughs before returning a bright smile. "He's got a cute face hasn't he? Do you think he'd mind if we drink his blood?" That once again annoying voice brings up in my mind. This alter vampire ego that I've suddenly got is really starting to bug me.

What's worse is that it actually tempted me. Such a massive pain this is starting to become.

"Well I'm Hanubusa Aido. Nice to meet such a pretty girl such as yourself." Now it was my turn to laugh. Did he honestly expect that pick up line to work? What a joke.

"What's so funny?" Hanubusa asks while pouting. "Nothing! Nothing at all."

Well although my powers have drawn him to me, it might actually be for the best. It's definitely nice to have a friend in a new place such as this. Or it would certainly become extremely lonely. Where would be the fun in something like that?
