The Unforgettable Experience

Grandma

I woke up with a headache I looked around and I notice I was in my room I picked up my phone and say I had a text message.

Jeremy: "I took you up to your room last night he fell asleep and I didn't want to wake you so ya"

Me: Thanks so much Jeremy I'll text you later :)

Jeremy: Your welcome and ok

I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom I looked into the mirror I looked terrible my my make-up ran down my face and my hair looked like a bird nest. My phone vibrated and I picked it up and saw it was my mom I dreaded talking to her. Ever since the incident happened I distance my self from her and my father. My parents don't even know what happened because I feared of what they'll do.

I picked up my phone and I heard my mom talking to my dad.

"Hey mom" I said.

"Hey sweet heart what's wrong?" she asked.

"It's nothing mom just a break up" I sighed.

"Well talk more when I get home" she said.

"OMG MOM YOUR COMING" I screeched.

she laughed "yes me and your father and I need to look presentable and I have a surprise for you"my mom said.

"Ok mom I'll see you soon" I hanged up and quickly took a nice shower I put on a little make-up and but my hair in a fish tail bride then I put on pair of jeans and a cute sweater that match my flats. I rushed down stairs to find my mom and dad . I ran and jump into my dads arms.

"Dad I've missed you so much" I said and he chuckled.

"I've missed you to baby girl how are you? " I smiled and responded with a "good". I looked at my mom and just hugged her.

"Hi mom" I said.

"Hi sweetheart" she said I pulled away and I guess she saw the sadness in my eyes.

"Mia your surprise is in the car and when you come back inside we need to talk."

"Okay mom" I walked outside to see my grandma I ran to her a gave he a huge hug I love my grandma so much she's the one person who know about the incident and she swore she would never tell a soul. She was short and hand medium length hair which was gray and she was skinny and she didn't even look her age she looked like she was in her forties but was really in her late sixties. For someone in there sixty she was beautiful.

"Grandma what are you doing here" I said she smiled.

"Can't I spend time with my favourite granddaughter" she said.

"I'm your only granddaughter" I said while laughing.

"Yes Yes I know but I love you dearly" she said kissing my forehead. I laughed and helped my grandma with her bags and put them in her room. When I came went back downstairs I notice everyone sitting on the high chairs in the kitchen. I sat down next to my grandma and in front of my mom. I was still. very heartbroken and I knew my mom was going to bring it up.

"Sweetheart are you ok" she asked me I nodded and looked down at the table.

"How are you taking your break up" see what I told you. I saw my dad face became red from anger he looked at me and I looked away.

"Mia who is he ?" he asked I knew my dad well to much to know he would do something very stupid because something happened with to anyone that was family.

"His names Jasper" I said looking down at the table. Jasper Holmes I said looking up to see my dad's reaction. He was red in the face. "Are you talking about Elizabeth and James son?" I nodded my head. Mia that boy will only get you in trouble he has been arrested twice I don't want you going out with that boy ever again." I knew better then to talk back to my father he was a well respected man all over the world. I noticed my mom's eyes eye's travel down my arm and landed on my fingers I look at the ring Jasper gave me it was are promise ring I saw the look on my mom's face she looked at me with sympathy. I'm not sure why she doesn't even know what happened.

I changed the subject so grandma "Why are u really here?" I ask her.

"Honey I have cancer and my due date is next week" I froze I found it hard to talk I managed to spit out a few words.

"W-W-WWWHHYYY WHY DOES EVERYONE LEAVE ME." I screamed.

"DO YOU ALL HATE ME GRANDAD LEFT ME YOU GUYS LEFT ME EVEN JASPER LEFT ME" I said to my parents who looked shocked and showed sympathy to me.

AND NOW U GRANDMA HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO PLEASE DON'T GO" I screamed louder with that I ran out the house I ran all the way to the park and sat by the tree my grandma and I used to sit at when we had picnics. I sat there and cried I cried for a good 30 minute or so. I got up and looked around . I saw Jeremy sitting by a tree drawing something I walk over to him and rested my head on his shoulder and  looked at his drawing out was a picture of me crying he wrote on the page "Truly beautiful inside and out". Then I drifted off to sleep.
