Chapter 3

Aaron's POV:

I got a text from Nessa last night saying that she was having a party and inviting a bunch of people and it was at her house. I told her I would go. I'm going to see Roni again. I got ready and texted Roni that I was going to her house. She replied "Can't wait" then she sent "Hey Aaron I was wondering if you could stay at my house tonight. My Parents are out of town and I don't like being home alone." I chuckled "Sure Roni I'll bring some of my stuff. I packed my clothes and headed to my car and drove to Roni's house. When I knock Roni opened the door and Nessa winked at me while walking away. I set my stuff down and hugged Roni "Thank you so much Aaron I don't know what I would have done without you." I smiled and blushed a light shade of pink "Anytime Roni. Ready for our walk." "Yes" We just walked around her neighborhood and through a park talking after a while I noticed that we were holding hands. I didn't let go because it felt right. We sat at a park bench watching the sun set. I looked at Roni and said "You know this view is pretty but I've seen something more beautiful." "And what is that Burriss" she said in a sassy tone. "You" I quickly blurted out and looked away. "Thanks Aaron." Her hand touched my check and we looked into each others eyes. We both started leaning in and closed our eyes. Our lips were centimeter apart and I kissed her. I was about to pull away then she kissed me back.

Roni's POV: 

So I guess Aaron likes me and not Nessa. I feel bad for her but I like Aaron. That kiss was amazing, then we pulled away. I looked at the time and Nessa's party had started. We both walked back holding hands, smiling and blushing. When we got home I let go and I knew he understood. I opened the door and the smell of alcohol had filled the house. Aaron and I don't really drink at parties so we both had a lime bubbly. Nessa was drunk and flirting with Aaron he looked uncomfortable. She went to get another drink. Aaron and I just talked until we had enough of this party. We ended it, kicked everyone out and I got Nessa to bed. When I came down Aaron had started cleaning up so I helped him. When we had finished I had my back to him admiring the work we had done and the fact that it looked better than before the party. Aaron picked me up spun me around and dropped me onto the couch. We were both laughing and we both leaned in.

Aaron's POV:

We both leaned in and kissed. We started making out. I decided that I was gonna tell her that I like her. So I pulled away, she was confused then embarrassed. "Nothings wrong. I want to tell you something." I said worried about her. "I like you. And no not as a friend I've liked you for a while." "Aaron I like you too." She smiled. I kissed her and she kissed me back. Then I heard a faint "You do." I looked at the staircase and saw Nessa. I looked outside and it was light out. She ran to her room. I was about to get up then.

Roni's POV: 

Nessa heard oh crap. She was crying Aaron was about to get up but I stopped him. "I'll deal with this you go to practice." "Ok" he said not wanting to go. I walked him outside and to his car "Drive safe" I gave him a kiss on his check. "Bye Roni" He said then kissed my forehead. He got in his car and drove off. I went inside to Nessa's room and found her crying in her room. I walked in and sat next to her. "YOU KNEW I LIKED HIM AND THEN YOU KISSED HIM" she screamed. "I-i-i" I stuttered. "OF COURSE YOU KISSED HIM YOU KNOW WHY. IT'S BECAUSE YOUR JEALOUS OF ME BEING POPULAR AND YOU BEING A NERD. YOU ARE THE WORST SISTER IN THE WORLD GET OUT OF MY ROOM. GET OUT." She continued to scream. "Ok I will, have you ever thought about how I feel. No. Did you even ask if I liked him. NO. Did you even ask if I was cool with you asking him out. NO. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF I ASKED OUT THE GUY WHO IS YOUR BEST FRIEND THAT YOU LIKE. I'm leaving."My spat my words at her. "Where are you going." She said quietly crying. "To school" I said leaving. Grabbing Aaron's Letterman jacket putting it on. I grabbed some of my stuff. Walking out slamming the door while leaving. I took an Uber to school and sat on the bleachers watching Aaron practice. He came up to me when he was done and asked me what was wrong.

Aaron's POV:

Roni was here and I was happy to have her here. When I finished practice I walked over to her. I said "What's wrong Babe er Roni." She smiled "One I like Babe and two Nessa said I was the worst sister in the world. Because I knew she liked you." "I'm sorry R-Babe." I said while pulling her into a hug kissing the top of her head. "Hop on" I leaned down so I could give her a piggyback ride. "Thanks Babe" She said while kissing my check. "I put my stuff in your car I'm not going home." she said tearing up. I set her down and opened the car door letting her in. "It's ok babe." I said while putting my stuff in the back. I then got in and looked at Roni and gave her a kiss. I drove to my apartment. After a while I grabbed her hand. She looked at me and smiled. I gave her a quick kiss. "I love you Roni."
