Warning: There are spoilers (lightly mentioned) of the Harry Potter series for those of you who haven’t read it (and yes, there are people who have never read or watched Harry Potter).

The Battle of Hogwarts. The results of Dumbledore training the students to be soldiers. Armin blamed the old man for all of this, for his dying best friend, Mikasa. She took a werewolf attack for him. He always convinced himself to be a burden and was genuinely shocked by her sacrifice.

“Mikasa why…?” Armin whispered, brushing the hair off of her face.

“You deserve life Armin.” Mikasa whispered before the light left her eyes and she went limp in his arms.

“Mikasa…” Armin whispered, starting to cry. His mourning let his guard down and he got hit with the killing curse in the back. Armin collapsed on top of Mikasa, finally at peace.

A/N: I don’t normally read, nor usually enjoy, Harry Potter fanfiction, but this made me want to cry T^T Maybe just because it was these two, but gah.
