"Reynolds please," Eight pleads. "She is trying to spli-"
"Naveen, for the last time she is very friendly," Relynolds cuts him off "you just have to get to know her."
"Am I interrupting?" Lola asks, looking around the room.
"No," Reynolds replies "we were just getting ready."
Eight storms out the room angrily. I can't believe him, he thinks to himself.
Eight wakes up in his bed, as he hears the soothing rain fall onto the roof. He looks outside his window to see the the night sky, with a full moon that he was once able to see up close. Eight looks at the clock, 4:00 it read. He got out of bed and walked over to the door. He opens it, and walks out. He approaches the dining room where he sees Devdan eating a rabbit.
"Ironic huh," Eight says.
"What do you mean?" Devdan replies.
"One year ago today, was the day I met you," Eight started "and I was in the form of a black rabbit."
"Oh right," Devdan said, closing his eyes "December the seventh, that was a beautiful day."
When Devdan reopened his eyes, he could not find Eight. Then he looked down, and saw the same sweet rabbit he meet one year ago.
"Naveen," he began "you're doing it again."
Eight opened his eyes to see everything look bigger, as he was a small little rabbit. He concentrated, and reverted back to his original self.
"You need to learn to control your gifts," he said "let Vishnu into your life."
Devdan was a very spiritual man, but he did not know of Eight's true situation, that he was from a distant planet. That his race is struggling to survive, and being hunted at the same time. He did not know of the charm that made him invincible, so long as the garde stayed far away from each other. All Devdan knew was that Eight has special powers, and he had to keep it a secret.
"I'm working on it," Eight uttered.
"Ready to start today's training?
"You know it"
