After wrapping up most of my past, Sofia shed a tear. She told me that my story was better than hers and that she felt a bit ashamed to hear it. I told her it was fine and that her's was better and that I was glad that her skills in combat was worth it.

We both eventually continued our way out inside the caver until I saw a light. It was bright and warm for once. I alerted Sofia while she was sleeping at my back while I carried her through. As I  walked towards the light much closer, the white light turned into a flash of green. I close my eyes and once I open them, we were outside.

Once we were, we saw Ysa, Lexter and Jules battling the snow ape that we encountered three or four days ago. Which also got me thinking how were we able to get  outside faster or even back in time to see them still fighting the creature. I put Sofia and she eventually joined in the fight but I told them I would swoop in once I had a good explanation.

While I was looking at the towering mountains that surrounded us, I saw that same flash of green light that enveloped us while we were exiting the cavern. Right before another flash appeared, I could get a clear look at what that was.

"You still have more to see before your time is up", a voice flew near my ears as if something was  whispering beside me.

At that instant, there was another flash of green light and the next thing I knew, there were no more green flashes that appeared from that distance. As I continued to ponder what that was, Ysa interrupted my thoughts.

"Hey, Ian, you sure you're not gonna have some fun with this or what?".

I smiled then turned to the brawl wherein we would eventually happen. We returned to the treehouse with the snow ape story but not my experience with Sofia travelling out of that cave. I still had a lot of questions whether or not I should be worried about what happened  but...at least we're both safe.

It took us two days to come back and when we did, it was already noon. That night, I came to room and meditated a bit. You'd be surprised that up to this day, I still pledge my allegiance to the ice queen, Mother Frost, even if I caused her and my brethren a large disturbance in our sanctuary  or temple.

I still can't accept the fact that even if I saw my dead brothers and sisters as burning embers, they'd forgive me but I know that they knew I was corrupted and I had no control over myself that time. My remorse still shames me up to this day that I still couldn't defeat it but there will come a time that it'll fade away just as I know it would.

Up to this day, we haven't Josh yet. "It's been days or weeks and we haven't found a single trace of him after he did that risky move of destroying the portal himself", I thought.
