I know I haven't posted in forever and I'm really sorry about that. But my school have buried mee in tests and homework so all my free time has gone to study. Hopefully, I'll have more time in the future to write. Anyways, here's the chapter, it's really short but I hope you still will enjoy it.

Four weapons clashed together, they were pulled back again and the opponents just stared at each other. Keith was the one with two daggers, they were a little curved and had blue markings throughout the whole blade.

- Give up Col, this is not what you should focus at, Terina growled.

- Because killing innocent people is? No Terina, I need to do this.

By jumping back Col avoided an attack from the princess. Directly after he was forced to block Keith's daggers. The prince analyzed his situation for a moment. It was two against one, Terina had an impressive power but couldn't use it in here. He didn't know much about Keith except that he was Terina's boyfriend. That meant they probably wouldn't mess up their teamwork. Which gave them the advantage, on top of that Keith fought with two daggers. That forced him to always be really close to actually do some damage if Col had been alone against him it would be fine, but now Terina had Keith's back and she fought better from a long distance. Col realized they covered up for each other's weaknesses. So he did the only thing he could, he turned from the ongoing battle and ran towards another bookshelf. HIding in the shadows he could hear them approaching. Luckily they were on the other side of the shelf he hid behind. Col pushed the shelf over, the sound of books landing on the ground was horrible. The sound disappeared rather quickly and only left behind quiet sounds from Terina and Keith. Once again the prince went back to search for the right book.

Minutes passed without any luck for Col. He couldn't find the book and slowly but surely his search came to an end. Being so focused on the bookshelves Col didn't hear the soft footsteps from someone sneaking up on him. He snapped out of his mind when that someone hurdled him. Unprepared as he was, he was unable to prevent himself from falling. The prince found himself pinned down to the floor by no other than Keith. He tried to roll his way out of Keith's hands but wasn't able to. Just a moment later Terina showed up in his field of vision. Flames licked her hands. She gazed at Col for one second then she sighed at pressed her hand against the nearest book. It instantly caught fire and it spread by every second. Black smoke began to fill the room. Anger ran through Col's veins, he somehow found the strength to throw Keith off. His veins boiled with anger. How can someone burn books?! When the black smoke started to fill the room more and more Keith was the first one to run towards the door, Terina followed him closely. Col stayed, surrounded by toxic smoke and burning flames he continued to search for the book. But he couldn't find it. With disappointment as an aura around him, he gave up and ran after the two who already had left. But his lungs were already affected by the smoke, he coughed with every step and tears ran from his eyes, it was hard to breathe and even harder to focus, he leaned against every bookshelf to stop himself from falling as he tried to reach the door. A loud crack above him made him look up, a huge roof beam fell towards him. Awfully slow and of course on fire. By Merlin's beard!  Col tried to run but he was too weak and too slow. The beam crashed down on his leg, he could hear the bones being crushed under the weight. A scream of pure pain left his lips but it was hoarse and absolutely useless. More tears blurred his vision, everything was red or black. In front of him, books burned to ashes, desperate he tried to crawl away from the beam. His nails dug into the floor and he tried to pull forward but his muscles didn't work. He couldn't summon up the strength to make himself move forward, not a single millimetre. Slowly he started to feel dizzy and the pain faded. Panic was replaced with calmness and the prince sighed. I'll see you soon Note.
