He was the the leader of all the boys. Only boys; the only lady was his magical , sidekick of "girl-friend" , Bell. They were always together. I mean , ALWAYS! Did everything , flew to new places side by side. Discovered new adventures, worlds : created exciting new stories to tell the boys back home.
Til one day, Pan came upon such a wonderfully - unbelievably unexpected event yet! He was casually flying past this newest area when suddenly he heard a sweet , sweet voice yell , "the he struck him with his sword!"
A girl about the same age ,as he felt was telling those "story details" to , two other younger boys?! "Like , Whaattt?? Could this be for really , real? Whoaa... Wow, this is amazing!" , he thought now to sit himself on their window ledge , carefully hiding in the shadows.
"And then! Peter , he soared through the sky diving quickly to strike Captain!!!" The girl told the two boys in excitement , and motioning each of her imaginable movements she sees within.
He knew that story! Pan , did. He knew that story only because that was HIS story!! That was the time he challenged Hook to their biggest duel yet! "No way!" He bursted out louder than intended. Everyone on the other side of the window froze suddenly and looked curiously towards the window.
"WHAT on earth is going on in here!?" Busted in their drunkin father with his money hungry, annoying latest wife "Darling" Darla Rae. Yeah , "of course , darling" , "here ,darling" , "buy the children something also , my darling". Fuck , dad SHUT UP. Please. Damn.
"I was just telling the boys a bed time story, daddy". "Yeah bouncing around and acting like fools again." Darla pitches in rudely. The boys started to clean their room , as their older sister spoke with father. He then let out a long heavy , "Haa". The smell of his hourly scotch nauseating all my senses into tomorrow. "Not , "fools". Just children. I'm telling them a story , mama told me long ago. "Oh yes! Of Peter. I do remember" he calmly says lost in thought.
They're mother passed not long after she had their youngest brother. She had a sudden panick attack the moment she started contracting. Mostly because she chose to try the epidural this time. She was to afraid of the pain and this time had time to choose. She was okay until she had to start pushing. Out of nowhere she began hyperventilating, and not being able to push. The baby's heart rate began to slow so they had to act fast.
Emergency C-Section took place. That's where worse became the worlds worst. Mother had a severe body panic attack: NOTHING was able to help her. None of those calming meds , nothing. Her brain capacity was to weak to control all the triggers and her body was to fragile to manage each physical health complication that occurred. There was just to much happening ; mother couldnt focus on the ability to save herself from what was happening. Within minutes so much blood was lost. Her racing heartbeat pumped her almost completely dry.
In Wendy's thought about this story that her father told her before her 14th birthday was that mother sounded tired and weak. Why tho? She had everything. She had the house , the family , the friends , even the hard working supportive husband... Hm , why did mama decide to do something new in the delivery room ? I don't believe the assumption of her being scared of pain. She's had two kids before. A friend of Wendy's said "my mama told me that she didn't exactly feel much pain when she had to start pushing. The contractions were terrible , but she said it was worth it!"
There's just so so many reasons on what was really happening that day and why. Nobody , but the taker and mama will understand the choice that was made. The belief in choice that she had to be taken from us..
