My Thoughts Are Torturous

A/N: Yaaaay, I'm back. Also, theres a lil bit of mature language, and possibly some mature content in this. Be warned.

Lavi's POV:

Once I finished cleaning up and had a bath, I headed over to (Name)'s room in order to apologize to her for how I treated her earlier. Forgetting to knock, I walked into her room "Hey (Name), I'm sorry for how I acted earlier. I was just stressed and-" I fell silent and stared at the woman in front of me. (Name) was half naked in front of her bed, having been getting dressed. She was staring back at me, equally as shocked. She was only wearing a pair of panties. Once she was over the initial shock of seeing me, she quickly scrambled to grab her blanket and cover herself. I quickly turned around so I couldn't see her "I-I'm sorry!" I apologized and quickly left the room, closing the door. I went back to my room at an extremely fast speed, not wanting to be around anyone at the moment.

Your POV:

I sighed as I threw on some clothes "why has he been acting so strangely lately..? I mean, more then usual..." I mumbled, worried for Lavi. He's seen me naked before. I mean, we've had baths together, and even recently. After the whole Noah's Ark thing and him getting controlled by Road Camelot, he's been acting strange. Its like there's a whole other Lavi in there now. He's told me that in Roads dream world, there was another him, but... I'm wondering if maybe Road's powers are still affecting him. I would ask him about it, but he'd just brush it off and tell me he's fine, then change the subject, just like he always does.

Lavi's always been weird, but over time he's started acting more and more strange. I know being a bookman is hard, but.. Maybe... Just maybe, being a bookman is part of why he's acting weird...

Lavi's POV:

I got to my room and closed the door, cursing quietly "damn it... Why do I always have bad timing for this..." I muttered. I sat on the side of my bed, burying my face in my hands. I glanced at the door as a knock came from it. Lenalee cracked open the door and peeked her head in "Lavi, Komui wants to see you in his office." She said. I nodded and smiled "Alright!" I said in my usual cheerful voice. Once she left and closed the door, I frowned. I got up and headed to Komui's office, hoping- praying that (Name) wouldn't be there.

I opened Komui's office door and walked in. "Ah! Lavi you're here! Come take a seat next to (Name)!" Komui said. I inwardly cursed when I saw (Name), but went and sat next to her on the comfy sofa in the chief of the science divisions office "so what'd ya call us here for?" I asked. Komui smiled brightly "I have a mission id like you both to go on. Theres a town in eastern Japan that is having strange phenomenon occur. Id like you yo visit it and see whats going on." He said. (Name) smiled a bit "alright. Then we'll go pack and get ready to leave." she said, getting up and grabbing a file that Komui held out to her. I got up as well "I'll see you at the boats then (Name)" I sighed and got up, heading back to my room.

I began packing some clothes and other necessities before I walked through the halls of the order and to the underground cannal used for boat transportation. (Name) was already there, placing her luggage in the boat. I walked over and placed my luggage beside hers before stepping onto the boat and holding out my hand to her.

She blinked a bit before smiling and softpy placing her hand into mine and allowing me to help her step into the boat and sit down.

"Wheres the finder?" I asked, expecting a finder to be going with us. (Name) smiled at me "Komui said that we wont have a finder with us this time. We're running low on finders, so any we do have are being sent to places where they are less likely to be attacked while they work." She explained. I nodded in understanding and untied the boat from the dock, taking the oars and starting to row us towards the nearest town.
