Why? I took 70 dollars out of her bank account without asking for alcohol...she has that and 10 million over things over me to make me do whatever she wants.

"Kalani! It's yours and Kendal's birthday party! You have to!"
I look at the women I call mom
"No. The only thing I have to do is breathe and I barely wanna do that. So fuck you"

I look at her and grab my bag
"I'm out"
I ran out my house fast as shit
I sat and cried while running down the street until summer, Kendal's best friend stopped me
"Woah! You okay? The parties t-"
"I'm not going to that fucking party summer. I'm going out"
She sighs "Kalani are you o-"
"No. I'm not. But you don't care"
I turn to leave but a chick grabs my arm.
"Mind if I come with? I don't wanna go to the fucking party either"
I look at her for a while
"Are you a kill joy?"
"No are you?"

She sticks her tongue out at summer and we run toward the bus
"So kalani...why don't you wanna go to your own party?"
I roll my eyes
"I'm not good enough for them. It's always kendal. I have dyslexia...and I also have depression with that. They treat me differently then her. My mom yells at me when I mess up on words. And my dad hits me a lot when I'm sad. They're so fake it's ridiculous. But they want me to pretend to be this happy 17 year old girl. Fuck them"
She nods "I gotcha. Me and summer are treated differently. Partly because I like girls and she doesn't..."
I smile and look at her
"Well. I like girls too...so it's good to know that you do too"
She bites her bottom lip and nods
We end up at a movie theater
I was about to grab money but she smacked my hand
"It's your birthday. I'm paying tonight"
I groan as she pays for the movie tickets
We sit in the back
And a scary part comes on and I burry my face Imto her chest
She chuckles, moves my hair, and rubs my back
After the movie
We went to dinner
I told her I wasn't hungry
It's like she read my thoughts
"Whatever you've been told, isn't true. Now either you order something pretty lady...or I'll order you a double back cheeseburger and we won't leave until you've eaten it all.
My eyes widen and I look at the waiter
"Veggie burger with a side salad please"
Maddie giggles
"Same"
"Why didn't you get a h-"
"I'm vegan kalani"
I smile widely
And she smirks
"I wanna eat meat right now tho"
I look at her confused
"Have you ever been eaten?"
Then I realized
"Oh. Ummmm. I....ummmm...virgin?"
She laughs and pulls me closer rubbing my inner thigh
