You've just finished explaining how you got here to the four very attractive men in front of you. All of them seemed confused.
"So... we're in a video game?" Prompto asked, a slight tilt to his head.
"Yeah, at least in my world you guys are... and well, me too now. Probably..."
Ignis looked puzzled before he asked a question you weren't expecting. "So how does the game end, exactly?"
Shit. Should I tell them? No. What if them knowing somehow alters the ending for the worse? I don't want to mess with the game. ESPECIALLY when I'm in it.
"Um... I'm not sure I should tell you guys..."
Gladio looked at me strangely, almost as if he was trying to find something on me I couldn't see. I can't help but feel that he didn't believe me. "What do you mean you shouldn't tell us? You said you've played this game a million times before. It's not like you could forget the ending."
"I don't want to mess with the outcome. I might just be paranoid but I'd rather not risk breaking the game entirely. Then I might not be able to go back home..."
An awkward silence loomed over all five of you as you stood there in the desert, the sun starting to fall.
Of course, Ignis was the first to break the silence. "Maybe it would be best if we left for Hammerhead before the daemons come out. From there we can figure out how to get you home."
You nodded. "Yeah... Thank you."
"Our pleasure."————————————————————————
Once at Hammerhead, you shuffled out of the car after Noctis. It was odd riding in the Regalia stuffed between two people you previously thought were only made up of pixels.
You would have taken shotgun, but when Prompto offered, you smiled and told him that shotgun's probably much better for any photo-ops they might pass by.
No one said much on the short drive back, but once everyone loaded out of the Regalia, Ignis went straight into introducing you to Sid and Cindy.
Sid instantly recognized you, despite the fact that you've only ever met him through a screen. "I reckon you're the girly that left her stuff in the caravan over there? I took the liberty of guardin' ya stuff and fixin' ya bike up for ya."
"Oh... thanks," You shuffle uncomfortably, not knowing what stuff he was talking about.
"I'll have Cindy show ya to it. Cindy, mind showin' Ms. [L/N] to her stuff?"
"It's all just right over here," Cindy motions for you to follow her into the back of the garage where there's a couple of bags sitting in the corner alongside something big covered in a white cloth, "We almost went and turned all ya stuff into scrap, but pa-pa thought it'd be best to wait until some fella found a tag. Bet ya glad to see this ol' gal again." She lifts the sheet off of the object, dust flying into the air and into your lungs.
You cough and peer at what she's unveiled. It's a motorcycle-a badass motorcycle. [In pic above <3]
Alright... Who am I in this universe?????
You thank Cindy before looking into your bags to find something you could possibly remember. Something that is actually yours. Eventually once you hit the bottom of the bag you find a file-much like a police record file, but with a royal seal marking the front of it.
"Is that a royal record?" asks Ignis.
"I think so," you mumble back in bewilderment as you open the file. Inside you find a picture of yourself, similar to a driver's license photo, alongside a lengthy list of descriptions. You read over them silently as the boys look at you, waiting for an explanation.
"Um... So I'm a spy?..."
