Chapter 1 : Hero

Summer's point of view
I start to hum as my sister Elizabeth and I walk home from school. "Girls wait up!" We turn around to see Thea running over to us with Philip and Ryan following behind her. "Hi Thea! Hi boys!" Elizabeth says and I wave. I warmed up to them ,but I'm still a little quiet. Thea and Elizabeth start chatting and I just look around. A little girl with brown hair and the end of her hair is pink. She also has pink eyes. The little girl starts to walk across the street ,but a car speeds towards her. "HEY!!!" I scream as I run over to her lifting her up and running out of the way. "STAY OUT OF THE STREETS DUMBASSES!!!!!!!" The driver honks and speeds off. "Summer!!!" The other people run over. "Are you ok sis!?!" I nod and look at the little girl. "Hey are you ok?" The girl nods and smiles "thank you miss!" I stand up and put the girl on her feet. "Your welcome just be careful alright?" I say I feel like a mom saying that. "I'm Summer by the way" the girl grins "I'm Betty!!" Thea giggles. "Your so cute kid! I'm Thea! And that's my idiotic brother Philip and his boyfriend Ryan" Philip glares and Ryan waves to Betty. Thea calls Philip an idiot most of the time. Betty claps "it was nice to meet all of you! Mind if I tag along to where your going?" I nod "sure!" Betty giggles and jumps up and down. "Yay!!!!!!! Thank you Summer!!" Thea giggles "You're very energetic aren't you?" Betty nods quickly. "I don't think I have seen you before have you been here for a while and I haven't noticed?" Elizabeth title her head. Betty sighs "Oh! Yeah! I just moved here a week ago! So if you don't mind can you show me around town?" Philip starts to say no but Thea shoves Philip. "Of course sweetie! Let's start this way!" Thea walks off and the rest of us follow behind. I look at Betty and she smiles sweetly at me. Nothing is gonna go wrong....or is it?
