That Girl

Chapter One

To start off with, my name is Velvet Stevens. I'm straight, and have had so many crushes all my friends have called me boy crazy.

When I found a guy attractive, I first had a small crush. Then I fell deeper and i thought I was in love with him. That went on for a while, with various different boys. They only remained crushes though.

I still find guys hot and attractive but it's hard to feel a connection or have a really deep crush with them anymore. I don't know why this is. It's like my heart put up a sign saying, 'no strings attached'.

It really sucks. Back then I was in elementary school. Now I'm in high school. I really would like to figure it out, get a cure, and continue having actual deep crushes on a guy. Ya know? I mean it used to come so naturally and now it's just.... Gone.

Anyway, enough thinking about this.

I have a date with a guy named Brad, and he is a quite a looker. He has that jock,casuality about him. We've been friends for a while and he asked me out. He's chill, sweet, nice and caring. Cute in the looks department too.

Anyways, what should I wear...... Skinny jeans, black flats, and a strapless, red shirt. I laid the outfit on my bed as I went and took a shower.

When I was done, and got dressed, I brushed my teeth and brushed my hair, then out mascara and lipgloss on. Perfect, I hope.

Even though I'm going out with a jock, I'm far from popular.

Brad and I met in English Class, where we were partners and eventually got to know each other and get along.

I grabbed my phone and money-were going to see a movie and get ice cream afterwards.

"Mom! I'm going out, I'll be back by 12! " I yelled as I ran down the stairs.

"Okay hunny bun! Have fun!"

"Kay mom!"
