She woke to pain, MORE pain. It was torture. Where was she? And why was she hooked to even more monitors? How could they find out? Oh she was in deep water.
But we're was she? It was like a cave, she could hear the noise and people talking but she couldn't see. There were wolves around, out for blood. She was hallucinating, she wasn't awake, her body was. Yet she was drowning in a horror movie, yet she couldn't get out.

Fletch was now doing rounds, as he'd just found out that Jac was moved so firstly needed to set the bed back up as there was a massive car crash, which happened early this morning. He saw on the floor, an empty packet of medication. He looked for an name. Which it didn't.

He saw Freida coming out of Jacs room, with an werid look. Whats happened? He walked over lingering slowly.

"She's took more pain medication, that's what you found over there. Yet the pain medication she took the wrong one, it's now going against the antibiotics. Which that's why I had to go back into theatre as her heart gave up. She was dead for an hour. I had to palpitate her heart. She's not making it easy, she needs to ask for help. Because this is a suicide. She's sleeping now, I've just put another bag of saline in to try and flush that medication out. Again, which means the pain is going to be worst. But I can't do anything as its making her worst. Keep an eye, she's got an x-ray soon, so she'll need comforting. As laying down with her injuries and not a lot of pain medication."

He cringed at the sound. He hated her being in pain. Yet he knew the only way she'd get better is this. Basically torture. "I'll go sit with her, as when she wakes up. It's going to be troublesome, and I'm not here for it."

Freida just nodded "Her X-ray is in an hour. And then her burns dressing. Do you want to do them now? While she's alseep, she'll probably wake up so I'll needed you."

He nodded and simply followed her, grabbing the supplies. They walked into Jac's room he started unraveling the used bandages and started applying the burn cream, thankfully she was still alseep because this was painful as well. As they were starting to finish up, she started to stir, Freida walked out, Fletch started and took her BP and heart rate.

He started to write then down, as an blood curlding scream, she's awake.

"Hey hey hey, calm down. Your okay. For now."

She just looked, everywhere and every movement hurtled like hell. She couldn't move. She just lay there, feeling the cream leak into her flesh.
"Your burns have just been cleaned and redressed. And your X-ray is soon, now the bad news is you can't have any medication as we know you took the wrong medication which the antibiotics we had you on, reacted badly to the ones you were taking. Which meant you went into respiratory arrest, and your body gave up. Freida had to open you up, and do palpitations on your heart. For an hour. You need to ASK for help. You promised."

She struggled a little to sit up, he quickly helped her up. Ignoring the wounds on her.

"But there was an emergency, I saw it. I didn't want anyone to get distracted while working."

"So you self medicated again?"

"I was stopping the pain, I didn't need help. I know how to. I've been injured more times than I care to think."

"You're not on your own, I'm here so is Freida and the rest. Your now in your childhood. You're in reality, in the present. But right now you need to brave because the pain, is going to kicked in."

She just groaned, it already kicked in. The tears were free falling, she couldn't take it.

"Hey, calm down. I'm here. Just calm down."

"It hurts."

"I know, I promise I know. But you've got to brave. Once the last of the medication has left your system I'll put you back on the antibiotics and high pain medication. Now do you want something to sleep?"

"No."

"You're complaining your hurting yet I'm trying to offer a solution."

"I can't see them again. I can't."

Who on Earth is 'them', was she hallucinating. Wait, that's why she was thrashing around last time

"Jac, who's them?"

"Everyone I've lost. Like Jasmine."

"Hey, You didn't kill her. At all. You can't blame yourself for that. Okay?"

She simply nodded, she'd give up.

"Right I'm going sit here, with you. So you can talk, or just sit there."

"Can you sit here?" She said as she tapped on her bed.

"Right, I'll just move you. I really don't want to hurt you."

He slowly moved her broke ankle, then slowly lifted her up and moved her over. Making sure her burnt arm was on the other side, and slowly lay next to her. She winced in pain.

" sorry about that."

She tried talking through the river of tears. "it's fine, promise.". She still tried being strong.

"Stop acting strong for a second. Your not fine, this tense pain isn't. Your mentally isn't. You've got a lot in your way. Once your hearts healed enough you've got physical therapy, to walk on your ankle and with your scar again. It's going to be painful. But you've got me,and you've not getting rid of me. That's a promise."

"Thanks. For everything."

"No need, now try and sleep. Focus on something which isn't the pain. Your X-rays are soon. Which is going to be worst but your a fighter. And guess what? I'll be there, and I'm not moving. Now Freida hasn't told anyone unless someone has been up here. Everyone thinks your on medical leave. Because of how you ended up like this. Twice. But you there going to find out. So do you want to see anyone?"

"I can't. They can keep thinking that."

"Jac."

"They can't see as vulnerable and alone. Disconnect so sometimes I feel frozen and alone. I can't."

"Hey, they've seen you at your worst full stop. This is a little step back."

"How? I've broken myself. I fucked EVERYTHING up."

"You tried to control something you can't."

"Feel my blood running, swear the sky's falling."

"Your okay, you've been through hell. And see the devil himself. Now try and sleep. I'll be right here, I've Your still alseep by time it's your X-ray I'll try and keep it that why. Pain free? Then I'll do a blood test so I can see if the medication has fully gone, or gone enough to so Freida will be able to put you back on your antibiotics and pain killers. Then hopefully you might be out for a couple days. As your body needs full rest."

As he finished, he felt her body relax. He was prying she stay like that for a while. He grabbed his phone and texted Evie, he knew she still hated him. But he needed her help. After texting Evie rang him, he quickly answered the phone.

Evie: Dad what's wrong?
Fletch:Jacs back in the hospital with worst injuries and as she can't have any pain medication I have to keep her calm so I can't leave the hospital for a while.
Evie:Jesus, that sounds bad.
Fletch:it is, so I need you to ask your granddad to get all the kids and they can stay with you. I don't want to leave her, it's unfair.
Evie:I will do, Can I come visit?
Fletch:sure, but make sure to text me before you get here.
Evie:Already see you love you.
CALL ENDED

Fletch made sure she was still asleep. Freida paged him, and he texted to say we're he was.
"Isn't that a cute sight." An Ukraine voice.
He looked up, "she was in bad pain, and was alone and talking nosense."
"I'll take her bloods now and get a rush on it. The pain medication she took, was enough to cause an overdose. I think the pain was worst than worst."
"That just shows how she feels alone. Evie has got my kids at Stevens. She said she's going to come visit, I think she's just upset over this."
"She'll be alright. Right I'm going to send this blood test off and put a rush on it, I'm think there's going be a lot left. But I'm just praying there more than 75% gone. If not she's gonna have to be in pain."
