"Yes please Kels, I'm sorry I will not be able to come today for I am not feeling well. I hope you understand" It was followed by a cough. Goodness my sore throat that brought me fever is getting into my nerves right now! I've been suffering from headache for 3 days already.
"Yes ma'am it's okay. I can manage. Get well soon. I'll just email you about the stocks of the restaurant"
Kelly responded politely. If I'm just feeling well right now I would check the stocks by myself but then here I am laying in my bed.
"Thank you Kels" with that I ended the call without waiting for her response. I then got up to bed to eat breakfast. When I was already in the middle of the stairs I've heard nana talking to someone.
"Eto nga hijo at nagluluto ako ng sopas para naman mabawasan ang lagnat niya. Nagtimpla nadin ako nang gatas dahil bawal siya sa malamig sapagkat namamaga ang tonsil niya"
I can hear it from the kitchen. The kitchen utensils were loud as if nana is in a hurry. But wait, whose the guy nana is talking with? She said
'hijo' so it must be a guy. Does nana had a visitor?
Is it dad? But then they will be home next month for they have a lot of business to manage and mama can't leave him there but then they assured me that they will be going home next month for we will be celebrating the Christmas and New Year together, so whose this guy nana is talking with, then?
I walked towards the kitchen slowly for my head is still throbbing because of headache.
I still have a lot of works to do but then this headache came away without informing me so here I am now, inside the house and looks like a mess for I haven't taken a bath yet. My hair is in a very messy bun at may muta pa nga siguro ako. I'm only wearing an oversized shirt and grey sweat pants.
Well I don't really dress up well if I'm just at home.
I was just a step away from the kitchen when someone got out of there. I was terribly shock like my eyes are going to pop out from it's socket. Si Nithael Gavin Lopez lang naman kasi yung lumabas galing sa kusina ko. Tell me! Pano ako kakalma knowing that he's here infront of me!
He eyed me from head to toe and the side of his lips tugged upward, oh shit I forgot I look like a mess today. And my odor stinks!
"Oh hi Seheiah"
then he followed it with a smirk.
Without having a second thought I rushed towards the stairs to escape him. Sabi ko na nga ba na sana nag hilamos at nagsuklay man lang ako. I was running so fast to go inside my room. Kahit nanlalabo ang mata ko at sumasakit ang ulo ko ay sige lang ako sa pagtakbo like I'm running for my life. "Nakakahiya ka talaga Seheiah!" I was talking to myself while twisting the knob of my room.
I immediately entered my room and rushed towards the cr. Agad kung in-on ang shower at naligo. I was struggling to put a shower gel on my palm dahil nanginginig ang mga palad ko. Why did he showed up in my house?!
Clam the fuck down Seheiah!
It took me 30 minutes to take a bath. Tumigil lang ako nang naramdaman ko nang nahihilo nako. I pulled my yellow sundress para naman magmukha akong kapormal pormal bago bumaba. I combed my hair then I'm done. I went down the stairs.
"Na, luto na ba yung sopas?" I act as if he's not there, staring at me intently.
"Nandyan kana pala hija, kumain kana at ng bumalik na yang lakas mo"
Ipinaghanda ako ni nana ng mga utensils habang umuupo ako sa dining table. Agad din syang bumalik sa kusina. Tiningnan ko ng masama si Nithael na nakangisi sakin. Bigla nalang syang tumayo sa pagkaka upo niya. San naman kaya pupunta yung lalaking yun?
I pushed my head backwards to relax. Nahihilo na naman kasi ako. I was about to close my eyes when I noticed Nithael on my peripheral vision, coming towards me with a bowl of sopas in his hands. He placed it in front of me. Kumunot ang noo niya ng makitang nakasandal ang ulo ko sa likod ng upuan.
"Are you still not feeling well?"
Sinamahan niya pa ng pag igting ng bagang pagkasabi niya non. I raised my brow.
"Obviously" I responded cockily. He rolled his eyes which made me giggled. He's too cute while doing that.
"Kumain kana. I heard from nana that you were vomiting since early this morning so I guess you drained your energy"
I was just staring at him while he is saying those. He looked at me again for I didn't touched my food.
"Why are you here?" I seriously spoke. He watched me then heaved a sigh.
"I was worried. I contacted you early this morning but then it keeps me delivering on voicemail so I contacted Kelly instead, then she told me that you're having fever. That's why" He said that as if he just found out that I have a stage 4 cancer. One thing I can conclude is, he didn't change. What he is before, is still he is right now.
Noon ay magka lagnat lamang ako ay ika cancel niya lahat ng pupuntahan niya at importanteng gagawin para lamang alagaaan ako. He would not leave my side and would whisper sweet nothings in my ear, while kissing me on my forehead. He wouldn't leave until I became okay.
I smiled at that memory. How I miss those. How I miss him being clingy and sweet and gentle. How I miss his possessiveness like he wouldn't want the world to take a glimpse of me. How I miss my munchkin.I was shaken in my reverie when he stood up and kissed my forehead.
I stilled like a statue with his sudden action. My body froze as I feel the warmth of his lips.
"Get well soon baby. I'll be back later"
With that he stormed out of the house leaving me dumbfounded.
