The Marauders and the Year it All Began

So I am the author, and I would like to preface some things before you all read the books,

I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT, other than being a fan of course. I do not agree with JK Rowling's transphobic and hateful views and if you do, don't even bother reading my works because hate of any kind is unwelcome here.

Obviously, this is fanfiction, BUT I work my hardest to make this story true to the source material. I use every fact and bit of information that I have about the Marauders, Hogwarts, and the 70s while combining that with headcanons that do not conflict with canon material. So, that means if there is a scene that seems super similar to a Tumblr post you read, it's because I based that scene off of that Tumblr post, I AM IN NO WAY trying to pass their headcanons off as my ideas and thoughts, I am purely trying to incorporate what we know about the Marauders with what we've all accepted as the Marauders. 

Any art I use in the books is NOT MINE unless I say otherwise, I will do my best to credit artists if I have their names.

Lastly, I'll try to not do a lot of them, but if there is an Author's Note either at the beginning/ end of a chapter or in a separate story part, please read them, I normally have important stuff to say, I promise I won't write them for fun. The author's notes will also contain CW or TW on any relevant chapters.

(Series Summary)

Little is known about the Marauders, but everyone wants to know what went on in the lives of James,  Remus, Sirius, and Peter. Not to mention Lily and Severus. This series will fill you in on everything that happened in the years 1971- 1981, everything from their school days to pranks to the First Wizarding War.

(Book Summary)

The year is 1971, and a new group of students is starting at Hogwarts. Among these children are James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin, Lily Evans, and Severus Snape. Within this group, some will make friendships, even in the first week, that will last a lifetime. For others, however, friendship doesn't seem possible. Their first year will start the foundation for the next seven years of their lives.
