Perseus woke to a scream ripping through the air, he jumped out of bed, sword in hand. Another sounded and he quietly groaned, just when he thought he would get some sleep. He flopped back on his bed before realizing he wasn't tired. Not anymore, at least.
He stood up once more and headed to his closet where a box full of art supplies rested. He put the slightly heavy box on his desk and sifted through it. He grabbed his thick-paged sketchbook and a few pencils before beginning to draw.
Now, Percy isn't one you would claim to be artistic but suffering from insomnia, you learn to occupy yourself. He taught himself to draw which, as difficult as it sounded at first, came pretty easily to him depending on what he drew.
As hours flew by, so did scratches. By the time he was finished, the time on his clock read 7:48. He sighed, another sleepless night gone by.
I wonder how long I can last?

Apollo sat in his math class, staring off into the distance. Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't be able to pay attention. His thoughts were on the raven-haired boy who some how made his heart flutter. Why was he feeling that? Percy is his cousin for the gods' sake! Plus, Apollo's a god and Percy's not. Simple as that. He knows it couldn't be the work of Aphrodite as she is also only a mortal.
All he wanted to do was to help Percy, but he couldn't find a way to help without others finding out.

Trying to get Perseus to agree to go to the party was the hardest thing they've encountered for over a century. None of them knew he could be that stubborn. Little did the former Olympians know, he didn't want to get caught because of what happened a week ago...
"Why can't you go, Perseus?" Athena asked with narrowed eyes.
"Because I can't, okay? I just can't!" He stormed away, leaving the flabbergasted used-to-be gods in the park.
"What... what was that about?" Hera wondered with a slight motherly tone, she's coming to like this boy.
"If any of us knew, we wouldn't be sitting here staring after him like he just told us he's the creator, would we?" The already shocked teens stared at Apollo. The sun-kissed boy stood up, brushed himself off and ran after the and Hero of Olympus.
"What do yo–?" Perseus was cut off when he got dragged into an alleyway. Apollo pinned him against the wall, one arm against his throat and the other holding his chest down.
"I want to know why you keep lying to us," Apollo ordered with a concerned expression.
Perseus shook his head, "I don't want to talk about it."
"Percy..."
"No, Apollo! I'm not going to tell you! Just... leave me alone," he looked to his left, seeing the entrance of the alley.
Apollo took his arm off the teen's throat to pull down his hood. "NO!" But it was too late, Perseus's hood was down. Apollo stumbled back.
