noun, plural elves [elvz] /ɛlvz/.
(in folklore) one of a class of preternatural beings, especially from mountainous regions, with magical powers, given to capricious and often mischievous interference in human affairs, and usually imagined to be a diminutive being in human form; sprite; fairy.

Common Traits:

Usually rather defined long and pointed ears. However the ears can come in a variety of different shapes. Commonly perceived as androgynous. Tend to be immortal. Usually, have undeniable beauty, strength, and sharper senses in which surpasses human abilities by a landslide.

Flaws:

Although, elves are most commonly known for their wrath. Isolation is actually the most common issue with elves. Because of their higher knowledge they feel a need to separate from others so they can focus on improving themselves. This leads us to arrogance, usually elves are rather arrogant thinking that they know what to do in out of hand situations but this can typically be influenced by their wrath and cause a slip up or two. Inequality. Many different eleven societies have some kind of hierarchy in place.
