______________________________________Eunjin took her headphones off as she neared the entrance to her school. She frowned as she paused the song she was listening to, as it was about to hit her favorite part.
She skipped across the hall with her head down, her short hair not giving her much coverage but it was enough to block out people's faces, it sort of made her feel as if no one was watching her.
No one probably was though.
She fastened her pace, both from wanting to be out of everyone's sight and not wanting to be late on the first day of Senior highschool.
As she got near the classroom, rushing students bumped at her, her heart jumped as she quickly squeezed through the flood of students and finally went in the room.
She walked to a random seat in a hurry, not bothering to pick up someone's pencil case that she accidentally hit, making it fall to the floor with a small "clang" noise.
She opened her bag as she sat down, lowering her head again, her hair covered her face entirely.
Taking her notebooks and pens out, she placed them neatly on her table, fixing the crooked pencil as it kept moving on the flat surface.
Eunjin jolted a bit as she heard a dramatic gasp from behind her.
"soMEONE PUSHED MY PENCIL CASE- MY PRECIOUS PENS."
She slightly looked back enough for her to see what was going on. She was greeted new face, the student didn't look familiar at all.
Must be a new student.
The guy stood there with his mouth a gape. His thin lips were opening and closing like a fish's lips. He stood there in disbelief as he picked his pencil case up and slowly sat on his chair.
The new kid kept staring off into space as he slowly nodded to himself. His face void of any emotion.
His gaze shifted to look around the room, almost making eye contact with Eunjin, but Eunjin looked to the front of the board before he could see her staring at him.
She flipped her notebook to the last page and started to write down random English words to keep her from getting bored as she waited for her teacher. But why was she writing words you ask? Because she's untalented and can't draw or doodle unlike others.
As she was about to write down another letter to finish the word "Exaggerate", the bell rang right when the door opened and in came their teacher. The moment the teacher came in, a lot of students started to murmur.
The teacher was unfamiliar so she must be new.
The teacher had a slim figure, her face was round and small, she had cat-like eyes and a tall, narrow nose that complemented her small plump lips. The thing that caught everyone's attention was her long straight hair and dark complexion.
She was gorgeous.
"Good morning to all, I'm Miss Jinhee. Yes I'm half African-American and no I do not speak English. I was born and raised in the province of Daegu." She said with a strong Daegu accent.
The boys of the class were obviously swooning after her feautures, some girls were even staring at her with an amazed look.
The room fell in awkward silence as no one said anything.
Miss Jinhee proceeded to talk about her summer and casually chatted with the students. Eunjin boredly played with her pen, not really into the conversation.
